Hotel Review of Peerless Resort - Port Blair
Comments: When I booked this resort, it was said that it is a great resort, but when I reached there it was totally different. I would give it zero out of ten. Resort is very poorly maintained, no one at front desk and it took more than 2 hours to check-in, even though I had confirmed booking from Delhi. More disappointing was when I entered the room it is same as rooms in our Chandni Chowk guest house. So bad because lights are not working, tile of bathroom floor were broken. When I complain about all this, they told me that they can’t do any thing. We had to spend two nights in Zero Watt bulb light.
Best Experience: All the experiences are on the worst side, nothing on the good side. Maximum, I call listening to the sound of the waves of the sea from room as the best part of my stay but that can be heard from any beach resort; no contribution of this resort in it.
Worst Experience: List of it start with 1st day: 1. 2 hours to check in 2. No lunch at lunch time, 3. No dinner after 6:30 PM moreover a very few item from menu available 4. In breakfast that include in my hotel package serves only poori, aaloo & tea & coffee 5. Hotel staff is not friendly. 6. Rooms are not maintained 7. This resort is located far from city & if you want to take dinner after 6:30pm, you have to go to city. But what is worse: no transport can be arranged by resort that night when we had to settle our hunger with the biscuits and namkeen that we had with us. As we were with kids of 2 & 3 years we asked the hotel for milk; they simply refused by telling, as after 6:30 kitchen is closed nothing can be prepared.
There are so many worse things I don’t know out of them what more I would write here. One thing I must write here is cost. I think the cost they are taking is very much higher than they deserve. They are charging INR 3500/per night but it must not be higher than INR1000/per night.

Post tsunami this hotel is yet to recover. people working in this hotel appeared depressed and gloomy. the garden and road has been destroyed and repair work is awfully slow. even the beach is not what it used to be. The tariff is highly overpriced. Room rent should not be more than Rs.1500. food is bad too....

Andaman Nicobar islands is an awesome place to visit and nature seems to be at its best there. We felt like being transformed to a different world filled with lush green trees and fresh air , sorrounded by crystal clear beaches and sea all around. Especially the havelock island is so beautiful . Its a couple of hours journey by ship from port blair .Its a must visit . Food is also very tasty . We tried many restuarants and each...

Good afordable place with sea in front of the hotel. Food is good and the hotel also has a resturant just outside the main premises. IN the night you can relax along the beach. This is the only hotel that is right next to the beach....
