Pratap Palace Hotel Reviews (11)
The hotel is located in the city and the tariff I paid is thee thousand rupees per day. I was satisfied with the stay and I had been here with my family. The staff behaviour was good and they were friendly in nature. The tariff of or the food is high but the taste and quality is good. They provided complimentary food for us. The rooms were spacious and it was well maintained. I will recommend this hotel for other travellers. The parking is available on the road.
I am here in Bharatpur with my friends for holidays. We stay here in Pratap palace for 2 days. Hotel looks good from outside. Located on prime location and near from all visiting spot. I prefer AC room which is big in size. Staff is very polite and co-operative. Service is very prompt. Food I ate here is delicious.
Rooms and service are below average rooms, it has terrible food. We went during peak season i.e. the time of year when migratory birds appear from far off lands like Siberia & Mongolia to Keoladeo, thus prices were quite high. We paid around 2200 for 2 nights here which is somewhat more than the rooms deserve, especially as there is almost no service and the food served is especially bad. The paneer we had ordered is not cooked properly.
It was a best location. It had a nice environment. Clean rooms and cooperative staff. It was close to bird sanctuary, walk able distance from proximity to sanctuary. Good accommodation and food. It was pollution free. Hotel had a nice ambience and set up. Approachable as located on highway close to Keoladev sanctuary
Hotel was not good. There was wild life sanctuary. Room was not neat. Ventilation was not there. Food was okay. Food taken from outside. Overall for 3 hotels it was value for money. Water was very bad. It was good for bathing and washing. Service was absent. Service was bad. Breakfast was given after argument. Three were no activity. Destination was the best. There were no light arrangement in the night time. He would not recommend to other travellers.
Rooms are very spacious, food are very good. There a lot of thing to improvement. Hotel is situated just on Saras Chauraha on the Highway and walking distance from Bird Century Park. Hotel has to focus on Cleanness. There Bathrooms are very dirty. there is no maintenance.
We went there with a big group of almost 10 friends with family. The hotel was newly build so there was some problem in room AC, it was not working properly but hotel staff was trying to solve the problem but they couldn't fix it. Pool was good but filter plant was not working or may be not installed. Food quality was exceptionally good. Hotel staff was very helpful. For small groups, seminars, conference or marriages it is a ideal place.
Nice stay with a gamut of good food options.pictureseque ambience.
Nice hotel it is .Enjoyed the royal treatment they gave us. The service at the hotel was good they were helpful and polite. Food was another great thing about the hotel and rooms were the best.
Looking for a bit of peace and quiet, this hotel was quite good. It was fairly clean and had very good view of the main road without being unduly noisy and it was one of the few hotels around the sanctuary gate. It also had a pleasing appearance from the front with ample parking space inside. It was a good place to come back to, with friendly staff. The staff were really nice and prompt in responding. Front office was also amiable and considerate. Talking specifically of the sanctuary, the rickshawallahs are a good choice unless you can walk 5 km or so; in that case a guide is a good idea. The rickshas are on hourly rates with the rickshawallahs chipping in as guides, something which they are very good at. However, though they do not state it explicitly they expect tips for this extra activity. Also, they carry their own binoculars which you can use but you are told about their hourly rate for binoculars at the end. The sanctuary does not hire out binoculars. And finally, the place is so enchanting that you do not realise how much time has passed( an activity aided by the deliberate slowness of the rickshawallahs) so you end up paying more than you intended to, even if it is a part of an hour. A very pleasant rickshawallah can become quite otherwise if you want to argue on any of these points. Of course, this is our experience and it may be different for others. Nonetheless, I would not have seen the immense variety without their guidance. Forewarned is forearmed I say!
