The Pride Reviews
Rooms are stinky as well as corridor. As soon you enter the elevator that pungent smell remains till you come out of hotel. The wooden furniture & carpet are too old and probably need to be replaced. Location wise it is good and service wise response is slow. Behaviour of staff is good.
It was good and nice stay, I enjoyed. It's centrally located, easy to go to other places. Room is good and the service guys are really helpful. I had a very good stay there. Breakfast spread is really good.
I had a bad time because the wifi was not working. I needed to some important an urgent work. Repeated complaints to the reception staff got me nothing but false reassurance! The management need to really pull up their socks and hire some decent staff or at least educate their staff regarding how to help customers. Also false promises like free wif....Read More
For official visit it is perfect for location but number of facilities are not available like pool and gym remains under maintenance. Rooms are good. Hospitality is also good. Ambiance is not at par with other Pride Group hotels but can be comparable.
I've stayed here for 2 nights, they say wifi is complimentary, however they didn't mention that it's only for 2 hrs/day. They say that room service is 24hrs, however at night they don't answer calls, rooftop restaurant is bad, choice of food and drinks is limited. Rooms were nice and no view from room.
Good stay. Food could be better and at affordable rates. Rooms are maintained neat. Dinner buffet not available. No mini bar was available. Well maintained and huge property. Had 2 day pleasant stay, food service could have been little better.
This hotel had been located within limits of Egmore and Central Railway stations. Though being 12 noon check-in procedure the Receptionist agreed for 9. 00am check-in without any early check-in charges. The Superior rooms were quite good enough with compact Washroom. Hospitality and Mannerisms could be improved a bit since it was below a par when c....Read More
Its old property which they tried to renovate but it is pathetic. Rooms were stinking I asked to spray some fragrance, which they did but still it was stinking. Unhygienic rooms, behaviour of the staff was good. Complimentary breakfast was ok, not value for money at all.
Hotel is at good location and taxi driver from airport could easily locate it. Staff at reception and other places like at floor and gate were very supportive and helpful. Room and toilet were clean. Linen was neat and clean. Buffet breakfast was good with good number of choices.
The hotel was excellant in all departments just that the staff service in their resturant could have been better. Other than that there is no complaint at all. Staffs are polite and friendly and the rooms are exceptionally clean and hygenic. Overall the experience was great
A trip to Mylapore is incomplete without visiting this restaurant. Right from the banana leaf to the hot kaapi, this place is known for dishing out southern flavours. The mess started 65 years ago and then it served meals for 50 people, with the o
