Really very good experience to stay in tent hotel and tents are good. Inside required furniture available like bed side table and dressing table, seating sofa and chairs. Food also good. Entertainment program at evening is good. You will enjoy camel ride also.
Went there in a group (5 couples) in the month of January 2016. Around 30 odd Kms away from the city of Jaisalmer at a place called Sam Sand dunes where all other such Camps are located. The location is a bit off from the main road which is a good thing as it gives the actual feel of the desert. The swiss tents are good, has a nice washroom with western toilet, hot water supply etc. Also there is small sitting area outside with each tent. The main attraction of the place is the Kalbelia dance performance in the courtyard at night. Dinner and drinks are also served there. A trip to the travellers, try to go there with a couple of friends if you really want to enjoy the place. Dinner served is average quality rajasthani food. You can also find Paragliding activities, jeep surfing etc if you go during the season (Dec - Feb)Next time I am gonna take my parents also there along with a few other families to enjoy the place to its fullest.
A sub-standard camp. Not a value for money. Tents were of bad quality. Room facilities were that of sub-standard. Cultural program was average. Camel safari was that of about 1 km and each member of safari people asking for money. Food was horrible. Overall, very bad experience.
The location of the hotel was nice. The transportation facility was available nearby the hotel. The booking and front office was very good. The provided room was nice. The internet connection was not provided by the hotel. The allotted room was spacious. The food quality was good. I don't have any suggestion for this hotel. The activity was arranged by the hotel. I had visited this hotel for relaxation purpose.
We have stayed at Prince Desert Camp in Sam Sand Dunes for 1 night. It was perfect desert experience as I have opted for a package which includes 1 night stay, Camel Ride, Snacks, Folk Dance, Dinner and next day Morning Breakfast. Overall it was pleasure experience with good facility. I would recommend to go there between November to January. If possible bring water with you because they will provide you only few complimentary water bottles only .
