Pristine Island now known as Pride Emarald Island - Alleppy.situated in middle of a creek one needs to travel on a boat (short distance though) to reach main hotel with its floating cottages as its USP on backwaters.The whole feel of floating cottage and staying on a island is really worthwhile and with the kind hospitality offered.

Best Experience: We had stayed there for 2 nights 3 days and it was quite romantic and thrilling experience.Right from riding speed boat on back water, to bonfire in evening with karaoke songs played and dancing heart out, and most amazing is the view of sunrise and sunset from the room was quite romantic. There is also beach volleyball setup for those loving the sport.

Worst Experience: None.

It is fantastic island resort for the people who need peace in all respect.

Best Experience: As it is a small island, it is like anything. Rooms on backwater, gives some extra enjoyment in the trip.

Worst Experience: Room's interior is somewhat inferior.

Wonderful place for Relaxing and enjoying Lazy vaccation without going anyhere. Once you rech on this Small Island Resort With great view from Rooms.your day can be have Leisurely breakfast, do some boating, Kayaking, Relax, Have lunch. take a nap play some volley ball, badminton if not interested do some fishing , go for Speed Boating, Chill in rooms gallery and see the life passing by the lake. Our stay at Pristine Island was Excellent as we were the only guest in the property so entire Staff, Amenities were at our purusal. Rooms Bath Rooms were neat & Clean. Bathroom Fittings , Accessories were in good condition. View from room was excellent. Rooms in line of restaurant have better view than rooms accross. Food was ok not so good, not so bad. Staff was very Co-Operative. Pristine Island by road is 20 Kms. From Cochin, 35 - 40 Kms. From Alappuzha (Alappey), 80-90 Kms. From Kumarkom thus this can not be substitute to actual backwater stay.

Best Experience: Children loved doing fishing, Playing with Geese, Rabbit, Turkey and Paddle Boating (Which was free). Speed boating though expensive was fun.

Worst Experience: Charges at Restaurant were too High. You have to surrender to it as you are on Island resort and don\'t have any alternate too.as to go outside you need to cross the lake (of course that is complimentary) drive for 10-12 kms. to reach the main road. And to search good restaurant I don\'t know how much you need to travel. Speed boat Rates were also very high Rs. 1800 for one Hour.

The experience at the resort was great. Beautiful island. Need more activites to keep the children occupied

We went to Pristine Isle for our honeymoon in February 2007. It was the first stop of our trip and the experience was great. The resort is situated in the middle of a lake and we had to use a boat to reach the resort. We stayed in the floating cottages which are placed on slabs and are anchored. The view from the cottages and resort was picturesque and calm specially the sunrise view directly from the bed of our cottage. We loved staying there. The staff was really nice, friendly and polite which added to our great experience. Keep up the good work.

Best Experience: Our best experience was the tranquil and scenic view from our cottage balcony and we kept awake till late to experience the same. The sunrise view was magnificent too.

Worst Experience: Not really a worst experience but something which we will always remember was that my wife almost drowned while getting on to a country boat for a ride.
