Hotel is very good and very excellent experience. Good service from hotel management and good people in hotel. Reception office is good. And rooms are very clean and maintained but need to bit improve on housekeeping service. I recommend this hotel to upcoming travellers.
Amazing ambience, fabulous service, beautiful interior and delicious food. In short perfect place, staff was very helping and generous. Location is convenient for commute too. Only bad thing is they are too popular so you have to book in real advance. They are mostly overbooked, my favorite was garden area and dinner.
The hotel is very good. Front office staff are very helpful and cooperative and they help to solve the problem. Room are very comfortable and very good rooms with all basic facilities. They provided good housekeeping, rooms kept neat clean and maintained. The food served is very delicious to eat and room service is very quick and fast my stay was good.
You may miss the faint door knock many times. I stayed for 2 days and 3 nights with my wife. I come to this hotel for my honeymoon. Hotel organises a party for the guest every week. My wife is very happy with the hotel services. Your hotel is royal and best in service.
Visited Panchgani last month with my family on a short leisure tour and stayed in this hotel for 4 days and we had a very enjoyable time here. Found the hotel easily and we were warmly welcomed by staff. I booked one in quite reasonable prices and it was a good room with nice facilities and space and good cleanliness. Hotel staff was nice and so helping. Housekeeping was on fairly on time. I had a decent dinner with my kids and they also liked the food and enjoyed their continental dishes. Overall a fine hotel.
My experience was excellent there. Everything was very nice there- room, view, staff, etc. Food wise, it was best. They charged Rs. 2300 per person per day including of food. It was conveniently located. It was a heritage hotel. Play room with snookers were there. Owner was there who guided the people. Food was very good. It was a relaxation trip with my family in March. No suggestion for improvement is needed. I will recommend it to all my friends.
Its well maintained property in the middle of Panchgani of the main road. Its just overlooking the table land . . Its maintained by a Bahai family who are keen to assist you with any information. They have a nice piano too. The food is excellent. Recommended to go in for the package else it would be expensive. We had the breakfast on the two days we stayed and it was a good spread served on the table. Nice well maintained pool.
Its lovely hotel situated in the gods own created destination of love and romance that is Panchgani. We had been there for 2 days and had a pleasant stay with the beautiful nature around. Would like to be there again and again. Loved the ambience and food there, the reception was also pleasing.
Hotel prospect is the best place to spend a short vacation. We visited this place last November and we are totally in love with this place. The rooms are clean and cosy. Lush green, peaceful surroundings. Ultimate food, food quantity and quality is also very good. The service including room service was good. Overall experience is very good. Have already recommended this place to few of my friends.
We were visiting Pune and had a couple of days to spare, so we decided to drive to Panchgani. We made a reservation at Prospect Hotel at the recommendation of a friend and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing breaks of the year The property is extremely well maintained and even though you are less than a kilometre away from the main road, it seems you are in some remote corner of the world as soon as you enter the reception. We spent a day just sprawled in the garden dozing, listening to the birds and watching them drink from the tiny fountain, Reading, admiring our surroundings and dozing a little more But it's not just the beauty and its history that makes Prospect Hotel such an awesome getaway, it's also the amazingly tasty food. Be prepared for an extra large share of gluttony as you will find it difficult to resist the amazing dishes that the kitchen churns out for every meal We had booked a suite in Sunset Cottage tucked away in a corner, this is a great location if you are looking for peace and quiet. Our rooms consisted of a master bedroom, a smaller bedroom and a beautiful porch. There are 4-5 other rooms in the cottage unfortunately for us all of these were occupied by a large and extremely noisy group of travellers, so our blissful sighs were soon replaced by a frantic search for rolls of cotton to drown out the screams. When we discussed this with the owners, they very kindly offered to move us to another cottage. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Prospect Hotel and can't wait to get back there again
This is a superb place. The ambience is so unlike a hotel. Ms & Mr Saharam are gracious & warm hosts, helpful but not intrusive. Its got a rich garden, very well maintained. We stayed at Kings cottage, which is the original cottage. Rooms are nice, big, toilets are clean. Lots of interesting knick knacks really add to the atmosphere. And they have a very well stocked library. ideal place to sack out... its also well located. hardly 5-7 min walk to the main bazar. there is a shortcut to the table land if you want to walk up. and finally the food. amazing. however veggies beware, this place is carnivore paradise. three non-veg courses with lunch & dinner; and mind you, its not your standard chicken tikka masala. Ms Saharam really excels with the recipes. So we had dhansak (typical parsee), cutlets, continental roasts, american fried, meat balls, kebabs, keemas, konkani fish...all delicious. be there..damn neat place
when i went to panchgani after a period of almost 10 yrs.. i had no booking..so i was goin from hotel to hotel deciding which one...at one such point my hubby told me how as a child he would come to a hotel called the prospect..i was a bit weary of it, since it had been a long time..but to my surprise, i fell in love instantly with the hotel.. the room was newly refurbished, and the location was exactly what i wanted, esp when one goes out of noisy mumbai... away from everything...the secluded wooded area was just what one needs. the hotel deserves best appreciation in every quater from service to food.. when i returned i told my husband, the second best thing u did was bring me to this hotel.....the first of course is marryin me... ha ha enjoy, and when in panchgani, do not even attempt to look for paradise, its right here at the prospect.
Overall, had a great holiday. Second visit in 3 months and think we\'re going to be regulars. The hosts are gracious and very warm, the staff very helpful and non intrusive. Excellent location and very good rooms, plenty of place for kids to run around. Mostly a family kind of place where you can truly unwind. Food - simply awesome. They have a lot of antique furniture and arefacts, including an old piano and an eclectic collection of books and some really old issue of National Geographic magazines. Rooms are clean and maintained well. We stayed at the Woodside Cottage both times.
Along with friends had been to this hotel, it was just awesome..........Great location, good rooms, excellent food and service. Hope we had many more hotels like this. This is in mumbai language i say Pure paisaaa wasoooll. Gonaaa go again.................and Again..............................;)
Wow!!! You get a homely feel at this place. It was very comfortable at this hotel. Can experience the best hospitality, staffs are very cordial and they see that we are comfortable in our rooms as well. I would surely want to comeback.
