I went Munnar with my wife and 1 year child in January month -2016. No hotel was booked in advanced. We selected this hotel as per our search. Reception person behavior was good. He helped us to guide us the local sites plan. We stayed in this hotel for 2 days. Room was good as per the price around (1000-1200). Hot water was available in morning time (Not sure after that, because in day time, we were out for the site seeing ) Room size was medium but ok for small family. No fan was there in the room but there was no requirement of the Fan as in morning and night it was very cold. As per request, room cleaning person was also available with no extra cost. As no lift was available in the hotel, but person was available to shift our luggage in the room and even exit time, they helped us lot to lift our luggage up to the bus stand. Some good point about this hotel that is very near to the market. So you can get all the taxi for site seeing and you can go for walk for shopping to market in free time in evening. Distance to market area is 4-5 mint from the hotel. All the way upto the market good shops are there so no risk if you are alone. 2-Veg restaurant Sarvanna Bhawan is 1-2 min distance from this hotel. This restaurant is very good option for the veg family. In market area, taxi stand is there, you can get all required taxi for site seeing in the range of Rs. 1000 or even auto around Rs. 700- Rs. 800 for one day. Two days is enough for Munnar sight seeing. We went blossam park, tea garden, muttapatty dam and covered all point up to the high point. High point very cold point with heavy fog. Our stay was good in the hotel. We will advice this hotel if you are the budget traveller(For Veg ) and searching the room with basic requirement with clean and decent rooms and range of the Rs. 1000 per day.
I myself with my family members planned and organized a tour program for Kerala in monsoon season in the month of August, 2014 for 15 days. We were 7 people, my family and relatives and we visited Munnar for 2 days - 14.08.2014 to 15.08.2014. We left Kochi by car early in the morning on 14.08.2014 and reached Munnar at 11.30 am. Munnar is near about 90 km from Kochi. We stayed there in hotel named Raahath Inn, I got mobile number of Nishad, Manager of hotel Raahath Inn from Kochi. The person who gave me mobile number of Nishad told me, that it is a beautiful hotel at prime location and comfortable home-stay. We stayed in hotel Raahath Inn for one day because of the heavy rush all rooms were booked in advance. The manager provided us 3 rooms for one day and he told me to book rooms in advance if we will come in future to visit Munnar. The location of the hotel is in heart of the city. All the rooms were very good and well-decorated. Room service was also available. The staff of hotel were well-behaved and were timely in handling request. They were always cheerful. The rooms were really big as appeared in the photograph. Beds were also comfortable. Quality of television was OK and cable option was also available. Restaurant facility was not available in hotel but in front of the hotel there was a big vegetarian restaurant. It was a beautiful restaurant. It was a south Indian hotel and meals were not expensive. I advice the travellers who want to visit Munnar, please book your accommodation in advance at hotel Raahath Inn.
The hotel is located in a convenient place. Surroundings of the hotel were well maintained. Staff service was helpful, friendly and quick service. The rooms are spacious and well maintained with amenities like AC, TV and a geyser in working condition. The rooms have hill view. There was no delay while check-in and check-out. I stayed in the hotel for 2 days with family on relaxation trip. I had food outside and restaurant facility was not available. There were no activities and sightseeing trip provided by the hotel. It is recommendable to other travellers, and value for the money paid. No suggestion from my end to the hotel management.
We (me and my wife) are touring all over India, after superannuated from service since Oct-2011. We had a very good stay in Hotel Raahath Inn Munnar. Specially Hotel Manager (Mr Nishant) and staff very polite, caring and friendly. Though we had a plan to stay in Munnar for 6 days but after two days (since the Hotel was fully booked) we had to shift to another hotel (adjacent to Raahath Inn) This arrangement was also made by the Manager of Raahath Inn personally. Overall our stay there in Raahath Inn was satisfactory by all means, including its location, cleanliness etc in New-Munnar.
Had a very nice experience at Hotel Raahath Inn, Munnar. Hospitality is very nice. The sightseeing is also being arranged by the hotel manager. Hotel manager is always kind and polite to us. The room service offered by the boys need appreciation. Overall, it's a comfortable hotel in all aspects.
