A stunning hotel from the friendly, attentive staff to our candlelit evenings with the Amber Fort as a backdrop- perfect and very romantic . ( and I can highly recommend the treatments and massages as well ! ) The whole place has a blissful ambience with water flowing, candles all over the property lit at night (including all the small wall alcoves in our outside terrace) and the open pillared restaurant with all white covered tables and chairs. Just beautiful!
My wife and I stayed here for 3 night in during long trip to India. The hotel is beautiful. The staff are amazing. The food was divine. The swimming pool is great. And the room and bed were one of the best ever. And fast wi-fi . the location is stunning and we loved the style of the hotel This hotel is wonderful fusion of traditional Haveli buildings with modern construction integrated with the old. Our room was a luxury room in the modern building that overlooked the gardens and pool area and it was superb. The garden grounds are lovely and you would never know you were in the center of the old city. There are a number of mosques nearby and although you hear the call to prayer, we never found it intrusive even at 5.30 in the morning. We had dinner in Dirikhana which has magnificent views of the floodlit fort in the evening - the Raas actually sponsor the floodlights. The staff there were excellent and particularly the maître d who ensured we had a table with a view and guided us through our choices advising as needed. Food was excellent and some of the best we tasted on our tour of India. if you feel like spoiling yourself, then this hotel is the place to do it.
This is truly a beautiful property in Jodhpur nestled in the old city. When one approaches from the outside one does not expect this little gem with a tremendous view of the Meherangarh Fort. I would stay here just to admire the sensational view. It is a modern hotel with old charm. The grounds are small but very well maintained. The pool though small but relaxing. Dinner at the Darikhana is a must. The restaurant serves good food, excellent service and spectacular views. One enjoys the view of the fort wherever one is. The rooms with balconies are recommended. You might be awakened to the sound of early morning prayers as there is a mosque just down the road. The service good. This Hotel is a bit tough to access as it is located in a very crowded area of old Jodhpur so it takes a while due to dis-organised traffic. Also to go anywhere else in Jodhpur one would need a car. Though the best way to get in and out of here is a 3 wheeler. But worth a stay for 2 nights at least once in a lifetime.
Awesome experience. Great ambience nice and helpful stuff. Good view. Absolute best in Jodhpur. Room quality and service was very good. The view from the roof top eating place in the evening is absolutely stunning. Food is a little costly. A huge variety of breakfast spread. The only thing is that the hotel is a little over priced.
My clients stayed at this hotel and the reviews were normal. Staff is good and rooms are fine but having view of streets full of cows and the bathroom was smelling cow dung. Food was normal. Although hotel is having a good indian heritage style with good swimming pool.
One of the best places i have ever visited in my life. Its not about five stars and seven stars like oberoi and Taj - its about the feel you get staying in that hotel. The view of the fort you get from there , the ambience they have created, the Rajasthani culture is also reflected. Not to forget the food is just class apart - Do not forget to visit the spa there !!
the hotel can be termed as an exquisite jewel of INDIA, what a fine experience it was, luxury at its best, the service was upbeat and it had a constant rhythm , the dining experience was a fine one too, the rooms are beautifull .its a must visit stay.
