Rafica Hotel is situated in a very good location of Leh. It has very nice staff, very good waiters, always ready to provide good service. A very good reception where you'll find almost every book written on Ladakh, adventure, trekking, rafting tips can be taken comfortably. Built in Ladakhi style, with wooden carvings on windows, doors, also interiors of rooms are wooden. Hotel is centralized heated to provide heating in -30 degrees of temperature. All in all, in very comfortable price tag. Recommended to every person visiting Leh.
We wanted to stay in a family atmosphere and we got that here. The location was very nice. Rent wise it was fine. Its just that we did not take any meals here. It was mainly for accommodation. It is not very fancy or extra ordinary but pretty neat and clean for staying with family. The staff were helpful but as we went in the off season so there were not many people to serve. But totally we had a good stay.
They had provided the camp facility. The rates were also very reasonable there. The accommodation and food facility were very good there. The staff at the hotel were also very cooperative. The appearance of the hotel was excellent. The surrounding of the hotel was also very excellent. I had stayed there with my friends.
Standard hotel in Leh. The staff is not at all helpful and have to be really push to get your requests executed through them. Food at the hotel is very good. They serve variety of food everyday and the chef takes our feedback and requests as well. Overall a decent stay as most of the time you are out for sightseeing.
Hotel is not at all appealing. Rooms were very okay with furniture being a little old. The hotel has got 2 floors and climbing them at Leh was tiring. The staff was not at all helpful with our problems. Lots of electricity problems at this hotel. They have WiFi but not that good at speed. Only good part here was the food they cooked and served. Look for other options to stay if possible.
Hotel is good enough, located near the market and provides good service. The staff is cooperative. Rooms are very big and has all necessary requirements. The one problem was that the WiFi connection was very poor.
Hotel was good - although our focus in Leh was not the hotel or the stay. We were onto a bike trip from Manali - so basically we were in a adventurous mood expecting very little from the hotels. But anyway, the staff here were full of warmth and dedication - room was good. In summer, one might need some fan there which they provide immediately. Restaurant food taste was good but the time taken for serving the food was some irrationally long. Overall a nice experience there.
Ladakh (Leh) is an amazing place no doubt about it so full marks to it.. Food was tasty, the management was good, they were helpful and co operative.. definitely worth staying
Good interiors, spacious bathroom & excellent service, this is what I will say if you ask me our overall experience at Rafica. After checking out 2 – 3 other hotels in Leh our driver Alibhai led us to this place whose owner was a friend of his. We were showed two rooms Normal Room (Ground Floor – Rs. 700) & Deluxe room (2 nd Floor – Rs. 1000). After seeing the rooms & hearing the specially discounted price we decided to increase our budget a little & opted for deluxe room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place. The rooms are spacious with very good interiors. The wooden interiors keep the room warm even when the outside temperature is chilling. The bathroom is large & enough space is provided for keeping our things & luggage. Hotel staff is courteous & always smiling. We were very much satisfied with their service. They even helped us in getting innerline permits for Nubra Valley & Pangong Tso at a nominal charge. Even our rafting trip (From Chilling to Nimmu) was arranged by them at the same rate as other operators in the market charge. Since the hotel is located just off the main market road all the essential services like Internet Café, STD Booth, Travel agents, good restaurants are located at a walking distance. Overall we were more than satisfied with our stay at the place.
