Rahi Plaza Hotel Reviews
The rooms of the hotel are not clean and the bedsheets and pillow covers are dirty as well. Half of the rooms have something or the other broken such as the wardrobe. The bathrooms are also not clean with the only better thing being the food and the location. The food at the hotel has good taste and variety and the hotel is located at the main mark....Read More
The hotel was conveniently located. The staffs in the hotel were friendly to me. I had no problem in check in and checkout procedure. The room allocated to me was well maintained. All the amenities provided in the room were functioning properly. I was not able to see any view from my room. I had tried the food from the hotel and it was good. Both v....Read More

It was my very bad experience in this hotel. If someone give you free stay in this hotel then also don't accept it. No cleanness. No food quality. Even on reception desk the person who was sitting not giving good answer. Room & bathroom are also bad. Both are totally different as you seen in website. Don't go!
Although we had problems in getting rooms, even after booking. But it was not due to their fault but they got Huge numbers of last minute guests. Manager Mr Shetty is really good and so is the staff, you ask them for anything they will be ready to help you in a most polite way. Best time to visit is September if you want to enjoy the beauty and les....Read More
It is a good hotel located in the market with lots of people around. One can buy food and eat in the room, the rooms are good and clean. In the morning they serve breakfast, tea then they take you for sightseeing. They bring back for lunch and in the evening you can shop there are many people coming for honey moon.

The hotel fits the pocket..it is one of the most popular hotels in Mahablaeshwar..they have good rooms..great interior..warm staff..the are really always to pamper you.. one more thing if you look for Rahi hotels..please book them early..coz they are always soldout..they even suggest other property next to them..they are always so nice..but we checkout coz they were full the next day.Even you dont stay here. They have this great resto called Rahi Shiv Sagar..one of the biggest resto..and always crowded ..they serve the best..if you dont get the privilege to stay here..then please have meals at this resto..you get everything...
I went to Mahabaleshwar in July, 2014. My trip was for five days in this hotel. Rahi Plaza Hotel is located about 0.5 km away from the bus stand. Hotel location was convenient. Appearance of the hotel from interior and exterior was well furnished. Welcome drink was offered by the hotel. I made on the spot booking for this hotel. There was no delay in check-in and check-out procedure. I booked two rooms in the hotel. Hot water, a/c, and double bed etc were available in the room. Interior decoration of the room was very nice. Room service was satisfactory. Staff was humble and gentle. Overall, services were good. I tried only breakfast in the hotel. Taste wise, breakfast was delicious. I preferred food from outside the hotel. Nothing was available in the activities there like library, playground for children to play, or games. Hotel stay was value for money paid. I am extra satisfied with the hotel services. I can recommend it for middle class travelers. Mahabaleshwar is nice place to visit. It was my relaxing trip. My native place is Ahmedabad.

Its not a Hotel, its a Horror Show!!! We had booked online for a 4 night stay & got badly stuck as we had paid in advance. 1) The entrance reminds you of a Rs.200 per night lodge which has not been cleaned in decades. The staircase & narrow alleyways to your rooms are dirty & walls are full of black filth. Even the room doors are in same pathetic condition. 2) Inside the room, the condition is even more pathetic. Dirty walls with black stains all over & bedsheets, pillows & quilt were in an equally bad state, smelly & full of stains. After a 10 hour journey my wife refused to even sit on the bed. Bathtubs in bathroom were broken. We checked atleast 5-6 different rooms but room condition was same everywhere. 3) No buzzer/phone to call room service. No towels/napkins provided & also no doormats outside bathrooms. 4) We changed to their sister concern Hotel Rahi. Even here the room condition was exactly the same as Rahi Plaza, the only difference being the staircase & lobby were cleaned regularly. 5) Hotel Rahi has a buzzer but nobody attends to you when you ring the bell. You have to walk down to reception yourself if you need sumthing. 6) The entire hotel is covered in plastic sheets so there are no windows open for fresh air. The generator didnot function & there was no electricity for 5-6 hours on two days but the management did not care to even call an electrician. They say its off season. 7) Again no doormats or towels provided. Soap is also provided on demand. Condition of bedsheets, pillows & blankets remind you of a Dharamshala: unclean, smelly & filthy. 8) Hot water is available from 7.30-8.00/8.15 am only. For someone on a holiday instead of relaxing you are woken up with a loud bang on your door at 7.30am stating please have your bath before hot water gets over. 9) I was stuck because I had booked for 4 nights & paid in advance the entire amount. Please guys genuine request to all who think of going to this Hotel: DONOT book or pay in advance. 10) The only saving grace in this stay was the Good food provided by their restaurant Shiv Sagar & the helpful & cooperative nature of the entire staff. They were really willing to Help but couldnt do much due to policies or bad management. 11) Sincere advice for people going to Mahabaleshwar: Do not get carried away by Photos of Hotels/Hotel Rooms Online. Keep a little extra budget & choose only the reputed hotels like Rajesh/Dreamland/Panorama etc. to avoid disappointment. Avoid small hotels in market area at alll costs.
The interior of the hotel was average, but the exterior was nice. Staff behaviour was good and they were very helpful. The hotel was conveniently located and it was very near to the market. The room allotted to me was average. All the basic amenities like AC, TV and geyser was provided in the room. I had food in the hotel and the price was reasonable. The quality and varieties of the food were good. Swimming pool, gym and games were not there in the hotel. Check-in and check-out process was done smoothly. The overall destination was good. The hotel was value for money and I will recommend this hotel to other travellers. I had very good experience in the hotel and I was satisfied with the service. I don’t have any suggestion regarding the hotel improvement.
