"Should have organised some fun activities"

Very good....we enjoyed a lot!!!! :) But the hotel authorities should have organised some fun activities for us. The scenic beauty is AWESOME but when a friends gang is going, the authorities should look for some avenues to entertain us... :)

Resort was fabulous, ambience was such you will fell that you are at mother nature's palm. food was good not much variety but whatever they serve was good.

Best Experience: Ambience of the resort for me was the best part of it.

good.probably highest resort in wayanad. had a good view.property as such is very good with many streams running through the resort and some leisure activities.

Best Experience: streams flowing next to our cottage was awesome.

Experience was good, accommodation and hospitality was nice. Very Scenic. However, the approach road was bad. With a very narrow road, drive to the resort is little scary but manageable.

Beautiful place. I think Mansoon would be best time to visit ther. Lot of greenery and very calm and neat place to vist. Good place for honeymooners..Also best suitable for nature lovers. Nice places around to visit and also for a small trekkeing.... More

Rain Country Resorts was a Wonderful Experience for the Entire Family. The location is excellent, rooms are neat and very good. Staff is also very co operative and good. The Natural Pool for Swimming is a new experience.

About Rain Country Resorts

Located 1300 meters above sea level, at Lakkidi on the mountains of Wayanad is Rain Country Resorts. It comprises eight cottages spread over 20 acres of land situated in a valley between three hills. The cottages are constructed in the traditional Kerala architecture. The resort also features a Kerala specialty restaurant. Rain Country has two naturally formed lakes and streams running through the resort. A 4-km trek from the resort takes you to Chembara peak at 2100 MSL, where over-night stay is possible at temporary camps.

Rooms & Amenities

Choices of cottages are single room, two rooms and three rooms. All cottages have verandahs and have attached baths with bath tubs & hot water facility.
