It was among the most cherish-able stays we ever had!! We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children who had a whale of a time here in Dec.\'11. Every moment was full with curiosity and peace of mind. It is at such places where a city dweller in me could find the solace, peace, tranquil and self resurrection. One could experience here the knowledge of responsible living with Nature and duties of the sustainable lifestyle and not just as charity but in deed as well.. Thanks to the whole team for such down to earth \'global\' experience! The varied activities, the food served, the rooms\' ambiance everything there was dreamlike.. So was the nature trail!!

Best Experience: Everything there is dreamlike adventure!!

Worst Experience: Approach road was under development and treacherous..

Awesome resort, wonderful service and food.

Best Experience: The cottage inside the rainforest - only light in night outside was due to the fireflies and only sound was due to the cicadas

Worst Experience: A broken TT board

Very good. The vibe is bohemian and hippie-like, the hosts are extremely affable and the place is stunning.

Best Experience: All the trekking and exploring within the property and its periphery.

Worst Experience: None.

Great stay but lacked some facilities. We really felt that we should have stayed for a longer period to feel the retreat.

Best Experience: The cottages and the route to them. Awesome!

Worst Experience: No parking/stay for hired vehicle/drivers.

The location was ideal and we had a stay which was undisturbed by TV, mobile etc.The place is surrounded with dense vegetation and has a variety of flora and fauna.

Best Experience: The staff were very caring and took us on treks and guided tours

This is not a general \'vacationing place\' come here if you are interested in nature, are looking for a quiet surrounding away from e-mails and conference calls or happen to be interested in organic farming. The first two definitely applied in our case - consequently we found this a fantastic experience. Do not come if you are looking at a lot of \'activities\' or are expecting a resort-like atmosphere.
We stayed for one night but I would recommend this place for at least two nights.
Make sure you have a vehicle with you - as this place is away from the main Madikeri town.

Best Experience: The natural surroundings and friendly staff. Meg - the manager - and team are doing a great job of looking after the guests. The plantation tour was memorable - Meg outlined the history of the place and showed organically grown spices, coffee. Food was simple but well cooked.
Personally - the most memorable experience was sitting on the balcony of the cottage at night and watching the fireflies gleam in the darkness.

Worst Experience: Nothing that I would call \'worst\'. Given the price tag -- the rooms could be a little better maintained in terms of the mattresses and sheets. Other than that - no complaints really. They should publicise this place a bit more (may be I am helping by writing this review :) )

Brilliant place to be!.....great drive to the destination although it can get a little difficult if you are reach after dark , like we did...could do with some more road signs specially in the last 4 kms.Very relaxing place, cottages are well made, superb food and super walkimg inside the plantation

Best Experience: The caretaker Muthu pandey is very helpful, superb service with a smile, amazing food, including Coorgi cuisine. The cottages are well furnished, large spacious clean western toilet, nice sitout .

Worst Experience: None!.

The resort is in the midst of lush green coffee/pepper plantations. As one moves further along the road after Club Mahindra Resorts in Coorg, we find the road narrowing into pleasant green slopy outfields of coffee and pepper plantations. Just as we begin to wonder if we have lost the way somewhere, the car reaches the promised green gate. The rooms are well designed, set amidst a small stream, which you cross on a wooden bridge to reach the common dining place. Food is served here, breakfast, lunch and dinner with mostly vegetarian delights. No a-la-carte. Food is good, while coffee is not. Coffee, tea or milk and the periodic juices are served at the rooms. However, the rooms do not have telephones and no mobile phone services have reach to this place. The resort promises tranquility and peace, which is what it delivers, though it may be difficult staying with children. The promoters of the resort have a NGO, which is actively spearheading the cause of organic farming. It is a trekkers paradise, with good trekking guides suiting your need and capacity.

Best Experience: After a leisurely tea in the evening, we take a long stroll along the road and return to the resort. Just imagine the thrill of seeing large trees lit up by twinkling fireflies as the sky gets dark. Waking up to the sound of chirping birds in the morning and a walk through the coffee plantation after breakfast.
