Good stay

Posted 30 Jun, 2017

For a holiday trip I visited Mahabaleshwar in the month of March 2016. I booked my stay through a travel agency. The location of the hotel was excellent and it was near to the market. The ambiance was good with garden. The bathroom was clean. I had the only breakfast. Food was very nice. Room was spacious and clean. Front desk staff was helpful. Service was on time. Extra activities were not available. Overall experience was good.

It was my holiday trip with my family in December 2016. It was very good service & was a good stay. Hotel is located in the central city & very near to malls & easy to access. The ambiance was good & it was well & decent in look. The reception was very good & quick in check in & they were very cooperative. I booked my stay through online. Rooms were very good & spacious & all amenities were very good in there. Service was calm & very clean & on time serving. Food was very tasty & delicious & quality was good in complimentary food. There was some activity but I havent used & wifi facility was good & there was no sightseeing was there & no travel desk facility was there. I like the rooms it was good. It was very good experience hotel to stay & enjoy.

I have been a regular visitor to Mahabaleshwar , and have stayed at most of the hotels, normally I do not comment but this time I think maybe this is the best way to communicate to the management. I thought just need to say some True facts about Rajesh , Have Been there to Mahabaleshwar from almost 12 yrs. Now and would have stayed in Rajesh for 6 times , Yes they do need some changes but overall they are not that bad, I mean they have a policy from last 10 to 12 yrs or so, yes at time they are rigid but then most of the time they are very cooperative , in fact if you need something at night you just need to call the boy outside your building and he will be more than happy to help you, but then they are overall strict with their timings and things that they can provide. As for the changes I have even told them the same to their manager at reception but may be they have their own reason not to implement them, a) They need to change the reception, the staff is really very good, but the look of the reception is nothing compare to what the rooms and Hotel Rajesh looks like. b) Their gym surely needs a makeover, but in my personal opinion the hotel is mostly visited by gujus , jains and marus and I don’ think those guys are that health conscious so may be that tells the story of condition of the gym. c) Their New made Breakfast Hall is very good, surprised why the dining hall is still the same I mean Their Dining hall, Way back in 2002 it was one of the best, Now it’s just like any ordinary place, NO DOUBT THE FOOD QUALITY and TASTE HAVE BEEN Excellent ALL THESE YEARS, but the ambiance is more of the late 90, then of the 2012. d) Kids Club, Here also I feel they need to Improve a lot as they had lots to offer before, but it’s not the same any more, may be the board games and other have taken over the outdoor games. But I Still feel if you are with your family and really want to have a great holiday then you should be here as they serve the BEST of FOOD with all the smile and the main market and bus stop are an easy access and the price they charge for a three night stay is decent enough for the services they provided, I just would like to inform that staying in Super Deluxe A/c is Much Better than the Classic A/c as the light in Classic A/c is to dim, May be they are made keeping in mind the honeymoon couples

Value for money with good facilities & service

Posted 19 Mar, 2014

I visited Mahabaleshwar in March 14 for holi with my family. This was not my first visit but Mahabaleshwar always fascinates me. It is very near to Mumbai and is a superb spot for 3 days vacation away from work pressure. I booked my stay this time in Hotel Rajesh. I booked the hotel directly. They promptly dispatched the booking voucher to my residence address. I reached Mahabaleshwar from Mumbai via express way. Hotel Rajesh is located in the market area as I must admit that it is one of the finest property. It occupies huge area with well appointed rooms located at various places. The service I experienced here is one of best I ever had, with enough parking space and very little noise. The staff is quite curious and prompt. The good thing about this hotel is that it has lot of recreational facilities for children as at times they get bored. It has good small garden, playing area and very good swimming pool specially for kids. The hotel serves traditional gujarathi vegetarian food and it is the best. I am sure that everyone will add at least 2 Kgs in 3 days of stay. You have to go to the new breakfast hall to have your breakfast and their old dinning hall for Lunch and dinner. However you still get really, good hot food when you sit for your lunch or dinner. They even served the food in my room for my mother as she could not walk. I definitely recommend to stay in this hotel

We visited mahableshwar jan 11, via pune it is about 280 kms. Good weather, nice evenings at the lake venna- boating, rides, horse riding. Points should be explored in the mornings when the weather is pleasent. One has to have his vehicle to explore mahableshwar everything is far off. One can give a miss to tapola- only lake and boating. We stayed at Rajesh hotel, believe me it is the best if u are staying with ur family- Well maintained property, good staff, near the market(walking distance). Rooms are good- take super deluxe it is better or classic if there are four people in one room. Nice gardens and swings. food is pure veg and gujurati style so a little tad sweet but hygenic and clean preperation. Package includes bedtea, BF, lunch, evening tea, dinner

First experience with hotel Rajesh & worth it!

Posted 17 Mar, 2014

This was our first experience with hotel Rajesh and it was really worth!! I booked through Go ibibo and got a good discount. I have reached early in morning at 7.00am. Since check in was 9.30 am I got the room very early. Even I have insisted for room in upper floor. Room were clean and fresh. Bathroom was also very clean. Food was very good (Pure Veg.) esp. for people who like Gujarati food. Lots of variety in food. No single menu repeated Place was very near to market. You can take a walk to Venna lake from hotel as it would take 30-35 min. Hotel infrastructure is good nice & clean swimming pool. Kid play area was also spacious. They have arranged a magic show on weekend. I didn’t see it has I was feeling very sleepy. Hotel staff is good and cooperative. Cons : My room phone was not working still the service people are there on each floor. There was load fluctuations but they have generator so no issue. Hot water timing was 7.00 to 10.00 am. They should provide 24 hrs hot water supply as water is very cold in winter. Note :- Point are very near to the hotel except pratapgad. Local taxi charges are on higher side. If you have a vehicle then it’s great.
