Hotel Review of Imperial Palace
Comments: Dissapointing management attitude
Best Experience: Enjoyable dinner.
Worst Experience: I had booked the executive suite for 3 nights at a cost of INR 6,500 per night. they had agreed a 10% discount at the outset.

The 1st night was fine, but they had heavy building work going on all night in the room above & below. I complained so many times and they promised to stop but did not. I had a sleepless night. The lobby manager apologised and told me he would look after me.

On the last night, they had the same heavy work going on till 11pm, and I was unable to rest in the afternoon whilst the whole of Rajkot goes to sleep to escape the heat.

Upon cheking out on the last day, they refused to make any allowance for the hassle I had suffered, and only allowed the 10% discount after a lot of argument. I told them I would withhold the cost of one night (the lobby manager was away) but they told me they would not release my luggage. So under serious protest I paid the bill. They had also charged me for internet use and would not refund although one of their own staff told them that the internet had not been working.

I have provided the hotel plenty of opportuntities to resolve the issue (I told then I would donate the credit to a local charity), but they have been unwilling.

I do not think the ordinary employees are at fault, only management & their greed.
