Ramada Udaipur boasts of palatial interiors with the reception area decorated well and giving a very warm welcome to the guests. The guests upon entry are treated in a royal manner. The check in process was smooth and quick and we were escorted to our room in a golf cart. The rooms were nice and spacious. I had booked a semi-deluxe room and was surprised that it was well equipped with a electric kettle, ironing board and a bath-tub. The interiors were clean and well maintained. The staff was courteous and mannered and ready to help The resort was equipped with a small badminton court, a pool table, swimming pool, carrom board and also some traditional entertainment arranged in the night The swimming pool was a bit of a letdown which was a bit dirty The food at the restaurant was pretty ordinary with the buffet not having a great spread especially for non vegetarians because they had only 2 dishes. The dinner was also pretty ordinary, with the Rajasthani speciality "Rajasthani Laval maas" very watery and bland Overall the stay was pleasant and we enjoyed all of the activities.
I visited there in March 2014. My stay was very good there. Booking was done through online. We booked 4 rooms for 4 families. All amenities were there in the room. Swimming pool was also there. Welcome drink was served there. Indoor games and gym were there. Food was excellent. Punjabi food was there and we had that only. It was very far from the city. Pick-up and drop facility was not provided by them. It was a 5-star hotel. Ambience wise, it was really good. Staff was very good. Staying there was value for money. Udaipur as a place is very good. Location of the resort was good. Appearance was also good. Booking and check- in, check-out facilities were good. Overall, services were good. Room was very good. Food and drink was good. Activity was average. It was a relaxing trip.
It was an awesome experience to stay there. For middle class people to pay such an amount and take a risk that how the resort will be, is a huge thing but this fulfills all the things. The quality of cooking was excellent. Loved the food. Lovely sunrise from room balcony on first floor. The staff were helpful, caring and assisted us tremendously, making our trip truly memorable Overall great experience. We loved this palace so much. The property in Udaipur is huge and gives you a beautiful view of the lake Pichola. One can enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the room itself. The staff is amazingly good and they go that extra mile to help you and make you feel comfortable. This is so beautiful and so good. Looking forward to have a wonderful stay with Ramada once again :)
