Ramanathpura Temples

Ramanathpura is a holy town located on the banks of River Cauvery. This town is often referred as “Dakshina Kashi” due to its temples along the banks of the river. In fact, there are five temples located within short distances from each other. The Rameshwara temple has steps that lead to the river and there are fish feeding facilities as well. Pilgrims can also enjoy bird watching here. It is said that there is a cave in the waterbed that can be entered, especially during the summer.
