Well Ramoji Film City is famous not only in India but all over the World.

Must Visit place in Hyderabad.

Based on my Experience will try to give a step by step review:

1. Location

Film City is located at a distance of around 30kms from Hyderabad City.

You can reach the place either by Taxi or Film city run buses from all parts of Hyderabad.

2. Parking:

Good Parking Facility, can accommodate a large number of cars.

Parking Fees - 50/- per car

3. Entry:

Entry Fees 1000/- for an adult and 900 for kids (above 3 years).

There are other packages too like AC bus tour (2000/-), Adventure Combo (1500/-) etc.

4. Bags and Snacks:

Backpacks and handbags are allowed.

Snacks purchased outside are not allowed.

They have to be placed in the cloak room near the entrance.

5. Entry to Film City:

There are general buses which take you from entrance to Film City.

It takes around 10-15 mins to reach the Film City.

We will be dropped at a place called Eureka. (Center spot for all activities in Ramoji)

This place has fun Rides, Restaurants, Food court, etc, etc.

6. Around Film City:

There are red colored vintage buses which take u around Film City.

There will be a guide in each bus who explains about the buildings around.

Once you board the bus @ Eureka you will be shown many buildings/sets/gardens with Explanation and will be dropped @ Hawa mahal.

From here we can see places around and then we have to catch 2 buses to reach Eureka Back.

7. Shows:

There will be several shows running @ Film City.

Stunt Show,

Spirit of Ramoji Show, etc etc.

The timings will be mentioned in the leaflet provided to you.

8. Restaurants:

There are 5 Restaurants in Film City.

Veg/Non Veg, Buffet, Selection etc everything is available.

Select the Restaurant based on your preference.

9. Photographers:

There will be some photographer at different places and they will click you photos in DSLR.

You can see the photos @ their counter in Eureka and get it printed or take the soft-copy if you like them.

The cost of these photos are a bit on higher side.

Soft Copy (25 Photos ) - 720/-

Totally worthy place.

Memories for a lifetime.

MUST MUST Visit Place!!!

Ramoji film city is the best location and each & every person who is visiting Hyderabad.
It's approx. 15 to 20 Kms from the Hyderabad City
You can reach either by Bus or by car up to the entrance gate of the Ramoji Film City. No any Private Vehicle is allowed to enter the Premises But all transfer arrangements are done by themselves by plenty number of Buses inside.
You have to pay R's. 1000/- as Entree fees, while paying fees you feel that it is costly but you enter inside & see the Heaven like various sets & various amusements, you feel that Entrance fees is still very less.
Total area is approx. 3600 acres & they have Set up various huge sets of Palaces & International Airports, water falls, Huge Gardens, Butter fly Gardens, Bird Gardens, Railway Station with Real Coaches, Action Theatre, Space Theater, Huge Show performance Stages, Many eatable Hotels & many more.
When you enter at 9am you can see their opening ceremony & then you start seeing places one after other the time passes fast & at last when you just see your watch, & surprised to see, it's 5, O' Clock. It exactly Closes at 5pm.
It's one of the biggest film city made by Shri Ramoji Rai, in the world & the same has been recorded in the Guineas Book of Records.

Beautiful place to visit. Wonderful experience. Gardens are really beautiful. There is no proper guidance for the tourists. It is better if authorised guides are available at each spot rather than giving explanation in a running bus. No arrangement for medical casualities. If in case of any medical exigency there is no arrangement for any medical care or transportation of the patient. From one pick up point to another there is no one to attend to you and you feel like lost in a deep forest.

Good place to visit.
Good transportation facility available inside Ramoji film city. There are many people to guide you.
Points to consider:
Extra lens for camera not allowed.
Outside food not allowed.
Water bottle available on MRP.
Few places are time consuming due to waiting time. Manage your timing accordingly.
