Ramoji Film City is a famous landmark and a popular destination in the city of Hyderabad. Ramoji Film City is located about 30 km from Hyderabad, on the way to Vijayawada on NH-9.

"Bollywood at a glance with Fun, Masti & Adventure" new review

  • 7.0/7

16666 acre is the vast area of Ramoji Film City. About 20 Km from Hyderabad is a city itself. It is located in the heart of nature and surely it's going to amaze you with newly developed sites like ashkari garden, butterfly garden, Kripali caves and lots more. The enthralling shows at Eureka and adventures at Fundustan prove your visit to be successful. Also you can enjoy Ranger, Carousel, Superjet and other thrilling rides. All in all my visit to Ramoji Film City proved out to be Full paisa vasool and would recommend everyone to visit during carnivals.

"Worth visiting" new review

  • 5.0/7

Ramoji film city is about 1-1. 5 hours drive from the centre of the city. Its used for many film and TV serials shoots. The place is huge and the tour takes quite a long time to complete.

But dont go with expectations of seeing something marvellous, most of the places are just buildings and structures like the ones you find in a city.

Worth visiting for appreciating the sheer size of the place.

The place is very nice. Nice garden around. Many shows and skit happening to enjoy your full day in Ramoji City. Make sure you start at 9 AM and reach max Inside the city by 10 AM. Most of the parts a bus will take around while the rest of the day you can enjoy shows, games and have fun. The film city is very good with butterfly garden, there are many lovely birds.

The Film City is like discovering many things. A common man who has no idea about change of Scenes in Cinema can be overwhelmed to watch by a distance of 200 Mtr how a scenery of London becomes a dehati village. How dummy fights are made. I was overwhelmed to see the interiors and exteriors. I will visit again.

One of the best Film city/Tourist visiting place in Hyderabad/India

Spread around 2000 acres.

For film people - it is a fully integrated complex where you can come in with a story, actors and complete a full fledged film with all the required inputs like music, editing, dubbing, special effects etc.

For tourists - it is a new experience to see the background of film making - the sets, equipment etc.

For Visitors - it is a real time shows, games etc.

It is a totally new world - where creativity takes place.

It is catering not only to Indian industry, but also Asian market.

Made to order sets apart from standard sets which can be changed or altered as per requirement.

I visited this film city with my family in sankranti holidays. This place can be reached through bus from city as it is just 20km from the city region. The entry ticket for the film city is not more and worth the entertainment given by them 800/- per each. Internal tour buses will be available in the film city which carry us and show us the film nagar. The main attractions here are "Raj and japan gardens, snow miki, coaster, circle coaster, swimming pool, water rides, horror rooms. The food is also tasty and the rates are reasonable. The "kids funky zone" is the best for the kids. And this film city will be enjoyable at evenings with "music, magic shows for the visitors" which is included in the ticket. Overall, worth visit and enjoyable trip with kids and family so must visit this when you visit Hyderabad.

"Best vacation spot"

  • 6.5/7
  • Posted 2 months ago
This film city is located 25kms away from the Hyderabad city and is also known as "South India's biggest film city". This film nagar is occupied in 1000 acres of land which is "owned by Ramoji Rao". The entry is worth ful i. e, just 100/-per and the buses will be available readily for the visitors to take them into the city. There we will have special attractions like "fort buildings, airports with aeroplanes that are made of strong cardboards and woods". As whole it will be "a trip to the other world of Amusements". So I recommend everyone to visit this place early morning by 9:00am in order to have "full satisfactory" ride of the Ramoji Film City.

"No need to specify Ramoji Film City is heart of Hyderabad. Ramoji Film City is one of the biggest film city in India. It's not a film city in my words it is one world, when you visit Ramoji Film City spend whole day then also you will not get satisfied because once you enter into Ramoji you don't know how time goes on. Anybody wants to visit Ramoji plan weekend with family it would be memorable in life"
