"Great outing"

We just did a day tour of Ramoji Film City. (We had booked the tickets online and assumed that it includes charges from Hyderabad to Ramoji as well since pick up locations were also mentioned)
There are two categories with different ticket rates. Once inside the Ramoji guys were at their hospitable best. Our ticket included a complimentary chocolate box, gift coupon, excellent buffet lunch (or may be we were hungry), water bottle, tea/coffee and juice. There was an AC bus to take us around. The guide Sujan Singh was a great help.
Don't miss the making of a movie' show.
The bird park is very good.
We had a nice time though it was a rush-rush tour. One can think of it as a weekend getaway. The place is beautiful and very clean and well maintained.

Ramoji Film City was a amazing place to visit. There were many shows and tides which entertained and amazed us very much. The commentary on the red tour bus was very different and funny. And the artificial railway station was also looking like a real railway station. At last, I should say it was the best place I have ever seen.

"The world's biggest film city"

  • 6.5/7

Ramoji film city is the biggest film city is located at a distance of near about 30 km from the Hyderabad city. It's a very good place for outing & for recreation. Ramoji film city is also a popular tourist place containing both natural & artificial attractions. It has an amusement park. Any kind of outsider transport is not allowed inside the film city except the bus provided by the film city. We booked tickets on line day before our journey. Southern Travels conducted our tour tickets. At morning 8. 30 am we boarded in the bus from Madhapur-kavuri hills bus stop & reached at the destination at 10. 30 am. From the entry gate of Ramoji we purchased the tickets @ Rs. 1100/- per head. Bus dropped us at the gate of film city & from there we picked up by film city bus. The bus trip was for an hour. There was a guide in the bus and we're being explained about the history of film city that how the films are shot over here. We visited action theatre. From there we got a view of how actions are done in Indian films. We saw magic show, stunt show & so on. Got a vast knowledge of that how a movie is made, how a set is prepared & what all process are involved in making of a film. Enjoyed rain dance & some rides. More attractive scene was for me that was the wings. Very attractive rare species colorful birds are there. Wow! Really its impressive. Ramoji film city is a must visit place.

We go through the sets used in bollywood films. We go through many famous places as well and I went in a school trip, in a bus with a guide, who was very funny and the place is superb. Even inside there is a park which has thrilling rides, a must visit for everyone. Recommended to go in morning as it is very big and will take atleast 10 hrs to soak it fully.

16666 acre is the vast area of Ramoji Film City. About 20 Km from Hyderabad is a city itself. It is located in the heart of nature and surely it's going to amaze you with newly developed sites like ashkari garden, butterfly garden, Kripali caves and lots more. The enthralling shows at Eureka and adventures at Fundustan prove your visit to be successful. Also you can enjoy Ranger, Carousel, Superjet and other thrilling rides. All in all my visit to Ramoji Film City proved out to be Full paisa vasool and would recommend everyone to visit during carnivals.

"Worth visiting"

Ramoji film city is about 1-1. 5 hours drive from the centre of the city. Its used for many film and TV serials shoots. The place is huge and the tour takes quite a long time to complete.

But dont go with expectations of seeing something marvellous, most of the places are just buildings and structures like the ones you find in a city.

Worth visiting for appreciating the sheer size of the place.

The place is very nice. Nice garden around. Many shows and skit happening to enjoy your full day in Ramoji City. Make sure you start at 9 AM and reach max Inside the city by 10 AM. Most of the parts a bus will take around while the rest of the day you can enjoy shows, games and have fun. The film city is very good with butterfly garden, there are many lovely birds.

"Pleasant & Thrilling"

The Film City is like discovering many things. A common man who has no idea about change of Scenes in Cinema can be overwhelmed to watch by a distance of 200 Mtr how a scenery of London becomes a dehati village. How dummy fights are made. I was overwhelmed to see the interiors and exteriors. I will visit again.
