The hotel is very good but at a very far off place. No shops nearby. The staff are helpful & the service is good. The appearance of hotel & room is excellent. There is no wi fi service & room doesn't have intercom so you need to rush downstairs for any requirement. The garden area is very beautiful & excellent. I have attached some pics for reference.
We choose it because it is not in the crowd are of Santiniketan, We have traveled on 27th June 2015 and stayed for one night. Hotel is very close to Prantik station and you can hear movements of trains throughout the day. Staff were very courteous and well-mannered, rooms were decent enough and food quality was good give rooms service of food free of cost. Rates well within cheap range. It is quite far from Santiniketan so you have to hire van/toto at heavy rate, I would recommend this hotel for one or two nights.
Its a good hotel for stay. Location is fine to stay with friend. Very lonely place but if you plan to visit total Bolpur then you must pay some travelling charges extra because there is only way out it's by rickshaw and its some time a high fare. But if you plan to take a hangover then its a favourite place.
The location of the hotel was very convenient to travel. The looks of the hotel from inside was good and outside was average. The service provided by the staff was good. I had booked for an AC room and the room allotted to me had all the basic appliances in good conditions. The bathroom was also free from sanitary and well-maintained. The food had complimentary breakfast and that was fine. There was no delay in check-in and check-out. The stay in the hotel was value for the money spent on it.
Staff behavior was friendly and helpful. Food was up to the mark but there can be increase in varieties if they wish they could. Hotel is located at about 20 mins distance from railway station by car. Location was good. Rooms were neat and clean. Bedsheet and pillow cover and other furniture were clean. Toilet was clean. I stayed there in summer so I don’t know about geyser. Look wise it was average. Reception was helpful. Services were quick. Nothing was available in activities. Shantiniketan place is a fabulous place for visit. I can recommend this hotel for average budget travelers; not for high budget people. I traveled in March last week with my family.
Very Good. This is a place in the lap of nature, where you can find yourself. This is the place where you can enjoy the nature very well. The service of this hotel was very good. Specially the food what they served, seems to be all experienced people.
At Rangamati Garden Resort , it was not easy to locate the hotel and appearance of the hotel was nice. Rooms were neat and comfortable, food served in the restaurant was tasty and booking procedure were simple and staff was well behaved and served proper service. Overall a good hotel to stay in shantiniketan .
Santiniketan is a great place and I visited santiniketan on this month of Sep'13 with my family as a weekend trip. Hotel Ranga Mati is a very good hotel. It's staff and services are really too good. Location of the hotel is near to prantik station. You can also able to come from bolpur station and it takes half an hours by auto rickshaw. Food and room service are very good. In the hotel AC and Non-AC both rooms are available but rooms are limited, hence, it is advisable that please book your room prior to the visit. It has it's own restaurant facility and food quality are really good. If you required any car facility, they also arrange the same for you for sightseeing, pickup and drop. Thing which attract me to revisit the hotel is its location. In this hotel, no one came to disturb you. You can enjoy peacefully your life with your family, as it is situated at the end of the road and after that forest starts. Hence, overall experience is very good with this hotel.
Santiniketan was a great place to see of culture and art. hotel ranga mati garden resort is a great place for stay vacation. the room, the service, food are awesome. i enjoy the vacation joyful.
The overall experience has been good. The delicious foods of the restaurant are something to be noted. The other things which are noteworthy are cordial behavior of the staffs and the garden surrounding the hotel.
