We went to this place between 30th Dec, 2014 to 1st January, 2015. As we were about 7 families with approx 18 pax. Let me start with the appearance. Well as we entered this resort, we found out that the pics are moreover the same and the pool area is more lush green and surrounded with trees than in the pictures. But its maintained beautifully Ill give a 4. 5/5 on the maintenance of the exterior. Then comes the big fireplace in the middle where the rooms are located, and thankfully our rooms were adjacent to the fireplace so it kinda felt special. The main catch for me was that big fire place 10/5 on that. We spent most of our late nights sitting and chatting there with the bonfire and the hotel staff was cooperative to set it up for us even after the midnight. The rooms, well they are pretty big, and spacious. You can linger around without bothering to hit a corner. But the mattress on the beds were like cemented. I felt it during the time i tried to jump on it and literally felt the pain. But overall ill give the rooms including the washroom a 4/5, and it was kept clean all the time and the products in the washroom were also by Biotique, so decent enough. Now the food. Starting from the breakfast to the dinner. I loved the meals. It was buffet system and plenty dishes were served. (veg and Non Veg both). So food was 4. 5/5 for me. Its no point mentioning the New Year Eve because it wont matter, but Ill tell you. They did serve unlimited liquor till 12 am. Everyone was sloshed. Lol. And the DJ played the music well and of course we were ruling the floor so the songs were as per our choice :) Overall, 5/5 for the property. Lush green, well-maintained, cordial staff and good food. And ask the counter for whatever you require. They even arranged a pickup and drop to the Station for us.
Hotel was good. It was a family vacation. Hotel location was convenient to reach. It was around 3 to 4 km away from the city. It was nearby to the transportation. Surrounding of the hotel was good. Staff behaviour was very cooperative. Immediate response was given by the staff. No delay in check-in and check-out. Appearance wise, it was very good. I went there in June 2014. Car was provided by the hotel people for sightseeing and all. Room was spacious, neat and clean. AC, TV, geyser or everything was there in the room and everything was working properly. Bed sheets, pillows, furnishings or everything was neat and clean. They used to clean the room daily. View of swimming pool was available from the room. I took food from there. Veg food was available there in buffet system. Quality and taste of the food was good. It was reasonable. Swimming pool was there and I used it. It was complimentary. It is 100% value for money. I will recommend it to other travellers. Homely environment was there. No suggestion is needed. Ranthambhore as a place is excellent. Hotel's location was also excellent. Appearance wise, it was excellent. Staff behaviour and their services were also excellent. Room was also excellent. Food, activity, etc. were excellent there.
Our trip had been organized by Junglelore who had taken care of the minutest details and overall made our first safari experience extremely memorable. Barring a few minor hiccups, every possible aspect of the journey, the stay and the safari arrangements had been taken into consideration by them to make for a worthwhile trip. Also, they ensure that they do not abandon their clients right after the payment goes through. There was someone calling every single day to ascertain that we were having a pleasant stay and everything was on track. This reassurance went a long way in giving us peace of mind in a different city. Our personal thanks to both Ayush and Gaurav. Needless to say, we will be taking more trips with them in future. My husband and I had opted for a 2-nite, 3-day package at Ranthambore Forest Lodge and we were very pleased with this resort. All the amenities at the resort were as advertised and there were no embellishments leading to false expectations. The surroundings were very peaceful and tranquil and after the mad bustle of the city, we were delighted to hear the chirping of birds. The night sky is one thing that is definitely worth a mention here. For a city dweller, it is completely awe inspiring to look up and see millions of stars and constellations in a clear sky, free of any kind of pollution. You could stare up at the sky for a long duration just admiring the cheer wonders up there. The staff is very hospitable. From the porters to the managers, everyone is concerned with making a guest's stay as pleasant as possible. Every request is taken care of right away. The food is very delicious and the waiters delight in feeding you as much as possible. Every meal becomes an experience when people are constantly hovering around and making sure that you are served well and eat your fill. Another thing which was a highlight of our stay was the experience of having evening chai by bonfires with live folk music and dance. There is a small shop within the premises which sells hard-to-find souvenirs. We had a lovely time picking out small knick-knacks for our family and friends back home. It is definitely worth a visit and the prices seem alright. Location wise, also it is just a few minutes from Sawai Madhopur station and we did not face any difficulties reaching it. Of course, our vehicle had also been taken care of by Junglelore which was extremely helpful to us after our long journey. Price-wise, the resort seems fine considering it includes all three meals plus stay, not forgetting the evening chai as well. Also, if you have to leave early in the morning for a safari, the waiters will make sure that you have your chai and biscuits before leaving, as early as 6 am. All in all, would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.
ranthambore, i had known ws the best place to sight the RBT. though we didn't get to sight one, it was a wonderful experience of deep dense forests. after the lazy forests of kaziranga & gir, this ws quite different. the property we chose after lot of deliberations, eventually turned out to be the best bet. it was ideally located, not too far from the forest entries. nor does it matter, since most properties are around & the safari vehicles come to your door step for pickup & drop. the hotel is a large, real large expanse of serene property. the rooms were quite large & even outdoors was quite spaced out, with large patches of lawns & outdoor activities the order of the day. the swimming pool ws good, our kids had a great time in the pool as well as playing a game of cricket & football. wish we were there for a couple of more days to enjoy the weather, which ws quite a relief from that of city life.
about 29 of us started from delhi for ranthambhore at night - around 11 pm in VOLVO bus - it was smooth drive all the way and v reached the resort - WELCOME HERITAGE RANTHAMBHORE FOREST RESORT at about 10.30 am in the morning - went for an after noon safari and then relaxed at the resort in the evening - next day morning also went for safari and enjoyed a lot - the atmosphere was great - it was chilling cold on 31st december morning - but it was an experience in itself - missed out on tiger sighting but overall a good safari - came back to resort - it was nice sunny day - had breakfast - played cricket in the front grounds - kids and ladies were playing badminton in other ground - after playing cricket - we had beer and all - and then went for a swim in the pool - imagine on 31st december doing swimming in north india - just bcoz we played serious cricket so everyone was swetting - fun game - after that had lunch - went out to see RANTHAMBHORE FORT and GANESHJI TEMPLE - both were beautiful and worth seeing - time was short as it got dark- went back to resort for the new year eve celebration !!! it was a fun trip all the way - everyone enjoyed
