periyar reserve
does anyone know of any program where my family and I can go trekking in the reserve?

we are planning to travel from Trivnadrum to ashtmuddi (2 nights at Mahindra), i night stay in house boat at kumarkom, then one or two nights stay at thekaddy, followed by two nights at munnar. Return from Cochin. Is the duration of stay adequate? Could you suggest good hotels in the range of 2500-3000 per night for a family of 4. Is it advisable to hire a taxi for the entire duration of stay?
