Comments: You have crossed a Ratnagiri city by taking a left turn to move towards sea shore and now your experience has started. Though initially your nose, head and all your senses are hit by "great" smell of fish.......don't worry...move ahead....!!! And you will be now on a streched bridge which offers spectacular view of the sea...!!! Now don't wait...keep moving as you want to experience more.......the road goes through the green lushed lagoons and cool breeze command your senses now.......you enjoy the value of being a human being and more than that of the power of nature !!
Now the road takes a sharp curves and you reach on a hillock. You see a little kingdom enjoying a beautiful sea, cool breeze and looking over lagoons...and that road which you just crossed...thats little kingdom is Kohinoor Samudra Resort.

You can enjoy the the gentle speed of the wind, the spectacular view of the sea, the freshness of the air, sky-touching coconut trees and casurinas......whats more, just alight a staircase and go down....you are on a sea shore......yes alone. Enjoy the lonely, soft, fresh, white sea......now just recharge all your senses !!!

Best Experience: Kohinoor Samudra....the rooms are just luxorius and placed perfectly to face the sea and wind..all the time. The bunglows are more specious having large sitouts with separate dinning area. Bunglow interiors and designs are just cozyy...

Kohinoor Samudra's Restaurant, which is on the opposite side of the same campus is another huge area to enjoy the nature. The restaurant offers variety in food. And the taste is just tempting..!!! The service staff is typically dressed in Kokani stayle, which "confirms" that you are in Kokan...

Beside this restaurant, you can do "deep deep"....yes here is a swimming pool and jacuzzi. Perfeclty placed on hill corner ! You can spend hours...if you are a free bird..

Kohinoor Samudra has something more to enjoy....Toy train..!!! Yes ride in Toy Train is something you will enjoy, though the childhood time has gone..!!!

...and the point of difference is "Titanic Deck", specially built to enjoy the beautiful nature..!! Just stand on the deck point, spread your hands and take a deep breath...........you can enjoy the same feeling which Kate and Leo had enjoyed in Titanic, while standing on the sharp point of Titanic....hihi :) you will enjoy it here....

Worst Experience: If hunger is your weak point, then beware...!! You are adviced to carry some stuff. The taste and quality of food is good...but the time you have to wait to get the same is also "good". The room service promptness is irritating. So hold your breath to maintain the calmness of your mind if you have ordered anything in room.

In the sunny days, its adviced that start your A/C in the afternoon and take a long snooze. Because its hot in the afternoon. So better to sleep..!!

package rates incl. meals for Four-days/Three nights in the Resort All Meals (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) are 6450/ - per PERSON which is definitely NOT WORTH THE PRICE !!...

Distance from Bombay = 350 kms ie. 6 hrs drive. My view is drive for another 3 and your in Goa which infrastructure-wise is far far better. The receptionist did not speak English. It took 45 mins to get milk for tea which was available in the room....

I enjoyed my overall experience. Would like to spend some more time if I get a chance. Food served is simple, nothing elaborate. Not meant for people who like 4 course meals....

great resort for a weekend and a little more than that, but sorry to say the food lacked the bite, not enough variety, very standard menu, very unresponsive f & B service...
