Seeing is believing !!! And when the 17 min chat with the entrepreneurial family's better half was in progress, the painted pictures from her accounts of the property and the limitless zeal to preserve contact within a natural habitat preserving its originality started forming from the very structure of the open English-styled restaurant. The structure resplendence with creepers, plants galore has been preserved to give it an absolute earthy feeling to its benefactors - birds, etc. Its the detail that has been captured by way of preserving any chemical poisoning, the facility has been painted with vegetable paint. The bar, sitting atop a lazy water bank preserving the very backdrop of what a water mass looks like amid-st natural flora and fauna The rooms have no intercom and internet - in a deliberate move to keep the travellers at peace while holidaying. It's a hit for bankers and people with high pressure jobs to take a weekend out, cut-off from known human touch to embrace nature at its purest forms. The Jacuzzi, the Bath and wash, the foyer and the sit-out back complete the absolute lazy recuperation that stressful work inflicted souls, need The pool, though not used much by the inhabitants, is fabulous for a swim. Was there to celebrate our 7th anniversary, and the staff, left no stone upturned. A separate sit out by the pool was organized with a private waiter, flowery embellishments and gastronomical delights from the worldly kitchen Located on the opposite end of Nagarhole National Park, separated by the Kabini River, the coracle ride is exciting and fun to watch with the myriad coloured birds and fauna. The innovative ideas are both simple, yet groundbreaking e. G. The earth dumped in a heap across the restaurant for the swimming pool is being used as a natural stage for performances from the adjoining tribes or guests. The adjoining tribes have been absorbed into the workforce Can go on, but time is a luxury in my profession, hence, can say satisfying, satiating, lazy, pampered experience where you get to learn a bit about nature and catch glimpses of them, its the place to be. Almost like Heaven on Earth !!!
What's the definition of a good resort pretty yes absolutely It's small quirks. The ambience It's rustic. Don't expect posh. Different coloured flowers in the pathway. Well, rough pathway. Backwaters facing property. Quaint cottages with an attached rustic open air Jacuzzi. Could see the Milkyway with the naked eyes. Food is decent, mix of south Indian and North and a little bit of continental. Amazing rasam. Good baker. Relaxing stay. Amazing pool. Chronicled. I loved the dance performance by this tribe. I can still hear them. Magical coracle ride in the back waters during sunset. I had a beautiful stay there. And an even better ride back to Bangalore in the Harley we rented. We did not go the safari. We had to take our own vehicle to another 8 kms or they charged us 800 per person. Didn't think it was worth it. Someone said apparently animals are spotted in December. And the rest of the months are generally quite.
Overall, my experience in this hotel was fantastic. As a destination, Kabini is an average place. Location of the hotel was also average. Hospitality and food was good there. I liked its hospitality very much. Appearance of the hotel was very good. Booking was done through travel agency. We did not face any problem in getting room. Booking and front office staff was good. Service of the staff was very good. Room was also very good. Food and drink was very nice. They had swimming pool, cycling, and some games for children to play and any other activities but they did not give safari. We have to book that. Activity part was very good. I went there with my family for relaxation in the month of March.
Took this vacation with my 3 year old kid and my Brother in laws family who had a 2 yr old kid too. We were very warmly greeted by the Front office when we entered and were checked-in quickly without any hassles The resort is very tastefully made and you know the owner has taken a lot of personal interest in landscaping the whole place. The bar is kind of in an island-like place in the middle of a pond. There is a lotus pond in the middle of the property. The resort is fantastic and very green The rooms are very well done but I was kind of peeved that the bathroom was outside the bedroom, in the wake of the night you have to go outside your room if you have to use the loo and what with it being close to forest, you are bound to have a few creepy crawlies enter your room. It's a small peeve, but I don't understand the design. The Jacuzzi pressure was low as it is all the resorts but the kids had a great time in the Jacuzzi. The staff was fantastic. Even though it was mentioned that there was no room service, they did occasionally on request send food and water as we had 2 toddlers with us Food for me was kind of a disappointment as I expected a more lavish spread like the other premium resorts but my wife on the other hand loved the food. Even the other guests on the property had mixed opinions, with people loving the food and a few saying the food was just okay I would recommend the place to the friends though.
The hotel was located far from the city. The pickup was provided by the hotel so I reached easily. The hotel was a river front cottage and the owner also stays in one of the cottages so good care was given. Many activities like coracle ride in river, swimming pool, indoor games and magic show and even safari to sanctuary was provided I enjoyed all the activities to my fullest. I was happy with well maintained room with all amenities with hot and cold water. The room and washroom were cleaned regularly. Only drawback was they didn't provide room service. There was good river view seen from my room. They provide all inclusive plans so good food was also provided. Overall, the stay was worth for money. I would like recommend this hotel for honeymoon couples and wildlife explorers and I myself would like to visit the hotel again.
