It was a good experience to stay here. Itís just a walk able distance away from the town. Rooms were good and well maintained. There is no restaurant facility, but there is one staff who will arrange it from the town on demand. I felt it as a good place to stay in a reasonable price in Munnar.

Rooms were neat and hygienically maintained. Food was not served except morning tea on demand, (for a day). It is very near to the town, a few minutes walk from the town. The taxi people were very helpful and he took us to Kolukkumauai, Rajamala National park and various dams and parks. Overall the trip was memorable with excellent weather, moderate rates of rooms and co operative taxi operators.

It was a home stay hotel only for staying, food we took it from outside. They provided only one room. I had been with my family. Since I used my own vehicle I did not enquire anything about pickup and drop facility. Hot water facility was there in the room. The food was not available. The room was like a cottage. We used service boy only for room cleaning. Hotel look was nice; it is a nature view place. We just took room to stay. There were no games. Location is in the village.

Not good at all. One night it rained and the \"room\" given to us was basically a outhouse, starting leaking. I wouldn\'t recommend at all.

Best Experience: Munnar is a beautiful place.

Worst Experience: The room itself.

it was nice.. place is ok..very centrally located.. just 2 minutes walk from the main town.. but view form the place is missing..so thats the advantage.. biggest disadvantage is no breakfast.. no traditional food that is served.. and that you expect since you put up in home stay..

Best Experience: best was the the owner of the place.. very accommodating.. and nice..also the caretaker shubu.. and the best is they and the vehicle to pick you up.. so that was the best..

Worst Experience: breakfast is not available..and the feel of home stay is missing.. its more like a lodge than home stay..

The rooms are small but the maintenance and the ambiance are quite good. They don\'t have any restaurant but they bring food on call from outside. It\'s little away from the city if you go by road. But there is a shortcut to city which can be reached only if one goes on foot. Overall I would recommend this homestay only if you like to have some home feeling otherwise go for some good hotel nearby city centre.

Hi, we a family of 4 (wife, 2 kids and me) stayed there on 16th August for one day. I must say that the experience was awesome. our first experience for the place was great and it kept on increasing as the time progressed. Very neat and clean room, bathroom, bed sheets etc and for the kids we had an carom board in room. A color TV with almost 85 satellite channels is also available for entertainment. 24 hrs hot water facility is also available. You can also have tea as per your need and the main market is just 2-3 minutes walk away from the homestay. The help boy Gopi is also ready for your support all the time. There is one approach road to this place from behind Mount Carmel Church to have the easier access to this place. And now comes the best part of this place. The owner Mr Jaicob is very nice and friendly person. He is amongst the better known faces of Munnar and has worked on many wild life projects in the town and is a superb photographer too. I too learnt some skills from the master and as a gesture he offered to click some photographs of my family and these were superb. We also bought some tea packets from his shop and he also helped us to buy better quality spices form the market. I wish I had some more time to spend at this place. I know only one thing and that is whenever in Munnar, Rheinberg homestay will always be my address. Keep it up guys, you are doing a wonderful job.
