over all experience was good...but not many activities conducted by the resort over the weekend...

Best Experience: peace full to spend a weekend

Worst Experience: everything was good....but we had to wait for the hot water to take a bath for long time...we asked the reception to send it several time....but it\'s always late... as we went there in rainy season...that was the only drawback....

..And the Worst

"The dour faced man at..."

The dour faced man at the reception did not seem pleased that we had a discounted package booking. Overall the staff were not helpful. Attitude was take it or leave it. The hotel had a very nouveau riche feel. No warmth. It was a all meals (vegetarian) inclusive package, which strangely excluded morning tea but included afternoon tea. Never again will we take such a package. The food was horrendous and there was no sense of menu planning. One day there was suji for breakfast, for lunch and also for dinner. Different items but still suji.

Best Experience: No good experience

Worst Experience: It took more than 20 minutes and 5 phone calls to get the AC running. Then we found out that the commode of the toilet was broken. Another 10 minutes to change the room. The 1st room had cigarette burns in the furniture. Both rooms were dusty. The balcony was not clean and we could not sit outside on the chairs. Hot water available only 8am-10 am in the morning. On 2 days, initially there was hot water but then it stopped suddenly. We were not informed that repairs are taking place. Hot water in the evenings would be welcome

Pleasant,enjoyable and confortable.the rooms & service was excellent.The evening DJ and pool side dinner was good & refreashing. The massage facility was good.

Excellent location near the mearket, superb and delicious food, lots of facilities and activities in the hotel.

Best Experience: watching my son enjoying a lot on the rides, in the swimmimg pool and garden area.

About Adamo - The Resort

Located in the hill station of Matheran, Richie Rich Resorts is close to all important places of interest of the city. The hilly terrain of Matheran makes it ideal for trekking and the sylvan environs are suited for strolls and nature walks. To preserve the environment and ambience of Matheran, motor vehicles are banned in Matheran and modes of transport are ponies and rickshaws. A Matheran stopover itinerary includes a visit to the Charlotte Lake, Porcupine Point, One Tree Hill and Hart Point.

Rooms & Amenities

Richie Rich has Regent and Regency rooms, Duplex Villa and Bunglows. The rooms have TV, refrigerator, telephone, net facility, 24 hours water supply, and round the clock room service. Richie Rich serves multi cuisine vegetarian food. Other facilities are swimming pool, massage parlour, Jacuzzi, skating rink, indoor games, and children�s play area. They also arrange weekend parties, marriage functions, picnics and live entertainment programmes on request.
