We went to Mount Abu in the month of May 2017. It was a holiday trip with family. We booked this hotel through an agent. The destination Mount Abu was a nice place. The appearance of was not like a hotel it was like a hall in a house. The hotel was located near to the sight seeing places. Somewhere they were arranging the parking facility in the hotel. There was no reception area at all. The service staffs were not provided any facilities for us. We felt many mosquitoes in the room. The bed bed sheet and pillow were untidy and full of dust. The staffs were not cleaning the bed sheet and room. The bathroom was in very bad condition. They have not maintained cleanliness in the hotel. The restaurant facility was not there. Its a waste hotel.

It was gr8 staying at the retreat... This hotel is just at the start of Mount Abu (near the Check Post) and is surrounded with lush green landscaped garden. However, we do find the hotel is a bit overpriced as compared to the ambience of the rooms and the facilities available.
We stayed in this hotel in the month of January as a holiday trip with family. It was leisure trip. The destination of the hotel was excellent with sunset point. The location of the hotel was excellent. The ambience was good and it could be easily reached by car. The look appearance of the hotel was excellent. The landscape of the hotel was very good. The booking and reception services were excellent. The staff's were very good and cooperative. The hotel was booked directly. The rooms provided were excellent. The room was very spacious, clean and well maintained. The overall services provided were excellent. The foods and drinks were excellent. They offered complimentary breakfast. The activities offered by the hotel were average. The overall experience of the hotel stay was excellent.
It was a awesome hotel in midst of Nature and away from city sound ... We were a group of 9 people staying in 3 room's overlooking mountains of Mt Abu. We had a lawn dinner under moonlight and this was really a good change for us and I am grateful for the hotel staff for being so helpful in setting up the dinner table and providing us with plates and spoons. The hotel staff were very well mannered and polite, helpful with all requests we made for. The place was so beautiful with a small temple in the middle, we liked our stay. The rooms were quite decent, neat & clean. The only drawback is drivers are not provided with boarding and we cant get dinner in the hotel. For an additional breakfast request (for driver), I was charged Rs 200 which I felt was very high as it was only Powha and tea served for breakfast. Hotel is good to stay for with decent staff but suggest if they can have dinner and more varieties for breakfast, this will make the stay more comfortable.
The front desk staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly and the room service was prompt too, they were caring and attentive. Room was spacious with good furniture, neat and comfortable with good working basic amenities. Located very convenient, in the city centre and it is located at about 2 km distance from the railway station and the bus stand. No problem while check-in and check-out and there were no activities. They provided food with south Indian dishes, the quality and taste of the food was very good with reasonable cost. There was no sufficient parking space facility. Hotel appearance was average, but the interior was well maintained. The hotel room tariff was value for money and it is recommendable to others. I went here with family for relaxation. They should improve parking space facilities.
Nicely located with good hotel rooms and excellent food quality Service was outstanding. Will recommend my friends and relatives about the hotel. The package rate was also affordable. Nice garden inside the hotel. Meals are relatively inexpensive. I would love to stay again at Rising Sun Retreat.
