Karnataka food, sight-seeing and shopping options
As said, its a small city there are not many good restaurants but one can try Amrut, a good veg and non veg restaurant with bar located at the main market (near ICICI bank). One can also try other restaurants in the market for authentic karwari cuisine. There is a war ship Museum INS Chapal which was used in 1971 war against Pakistan. Ticket Rs 15/-. A great experience. You can also visit the Marine Aquarium. There is nothing much in terms of shopping.
