The ambience is good. We stayed in tents big enough for 4 people with all amenities inside. The resort has a ground, indoor games, gym, pool and sits right beside a river. You go for kayaking to the river which depends on water flow. We were unlucky since the flow wasn\'t enough and so couldn\'t do it. The food is nice. Good experience overall.

I have stayed at this resort for three days. The resort is situated in a very good place. Having good swimming pool, play ground and space for various outdoor activities. But other places in this resort are not maintain properly. However, I have enjoyed a lot.

I have visited this place with my 4 other family members from 10th to 12 May. We had to book 2 tents as the resort was unable to accommodate 5 people in a single tent. We had booked the resort well in advance (almost a month before actually checking in there). However, we had received a call 2-3 days before our actual travel date if we wish to reschedule our holiday plan at the resort :-s. I was taken a back by this call only to understand that they wanted to accommodate a large corporate booking which falls during the same dates of our stay. They were 'concerned' about our privacy and enjoyment due to the presence of such big group! Since we had already scheduled everything, there was no question of taking an U turn at the last moment hence, we decided to face their 'concern'. We landed there as per our plan and too our expectations everything went smoothly. Even though they were completely occupied with the large corporate group (and incidentally, we were the only family out there), they did pay a special attention to make sure that we thoroughly enjoy our stay.

Best Experience: 1. Food was excellent, be it breakfast-snacks-lunch-dinner, great variety and good taste, 2. Initially, the rooms were not properly made up and it took some time for the room service guys to settle everything but otherwise, the basic amenities like ACs, refrigerator, TV were in working condition. They do have a power back up as we did experience frequent power outage during our stay but the backup was in excellent shape, 3. Tent ambiance was nice and unique for people like us who are used to of concrete walls surrounding us all the time, 4. The extra curricular activities in the form of kayaking, cycling, fox climbing etc. were perfectly organized and even made us available for free for a day during our stay, 5. Gym and sports room was well maintained and it was fun to indulge in to exercising and indoor gaming like table tennis and carrom, 6. The Jaccuzi was provided complimentary to our family and being first timers, it was a nice and relaxing experiencing, 7. The support staff was very humble and co-operative right from restaurant, reception, jacuzzi and other areas.

Worst Experience: 1. Swimming pool was ok and needed regular clean-up. Attendants at swimming pool and the couple of kids water slides were absent most of the time and i found this as the most neglected area of the resort, 2. I would recommend this resort mainly for large Corporate bookings and a small family BUT THIS PLACE A STRICT NO NO FOR THE GROUP OF 7 OR MORE MEMBERS as they do not have any flexibility in accommodating such groups. In fact, I had mentioned at the reception while checking out that I would definitely like to come back here with couple of my school friends in and around June. As promised, when I initiated enquiry in the first week of June for accommodating our group of 12 friends for an overnight picnic on weekend by June end, the response was surprisingly 'cold' and 'rigid'. The reason being: 1. They do not have large rooms to accommodate more than 4 people, 2. After much persuasion and request they were ready to provide us with a hall for our group get together that too from 7 to 11 pm that too was allowed only with their in house liquor consumption. The reason was obvious to understand that they wanted to discourage the group gathering may be out of fear or something from their past experience, 3. We wanted to check in at 5 pm on Saturday evening and checkout at 4 pm the next day but they were not ready to extend their check out time beyond 10 am. Thus, the tents were effectively available to us from 5 pm till 10 am next day and there was not much rebate in the charges!! 4. Due to the above reasons and an unenthusiastic approach, we decided to change our location at the last moment, 5. In short, if you intend to visit this resort with a family, this is a 'must to visit' place but if you are planning to have fun with a large group, I suggest to look out somewhere else as it would be disappointing and waste of time in negotiating and expecting from them a better deal on group bookings.

we had a great experience , enjoyed a lot in the resort its location is very good and the climate of the region also suits the location the food was Good, and activities are also good , Issue is only tent House was not as per standard.the hotel and staff was good, but if it comes to the cost, 6000/- is much if we compare overall location/service/food etc. if it will be 3000 or 4000/- then it will be very good hotel for weekend...❞

The overall experience was good, relaxing and comfortable.

Best Experience: We enjoyed the food in the resort. The breakfast, lunch and dinner menus were very good and loved by adults and children alike. We also enjoyed the \"vada pav\" served by the poolside with steaming hot tea and coffee.

Worst Experience: The tube light in our room had a short circuit and caught fire.

I have always seen pictures on Google for this resort but thought it might be fake how can a place be so beautiful ... me and my partner had left for lonavla but we could not find a good hotel in our budget it wasn't worth paying .. then I told my partner let's go river gate though it was tiring while driving back to karjat and finding river gate ... but It was worth I have never had such a good service ever before .. the best part the food was amazing being non vegetarian still I enjoyed the veg food and amazing deserts and most important the room and the bathroom was design amazing .. we had taken a tent .. though it was little expensive but worth to pay for a place where you live like a king and queen.. amazing environment in short can't forget this place and it's superb.

Best Experience: Best was the food .. I was surprised .. and tent was like a Mahal design which really amazing felt as is if I m in a palace room very clean ... and the most important the service was fabulous.

Worst Experience: Worst was that I wasted my time going to lonavla rather then coming here directly an apart from from that finding river gate is little tough .. you need to keep on asking people on way for directions ... nothing else.
