The hotel was located in a convenient place. I travelled in my own vehicle, parking facility was good. Staff behaviour and appearance of the hotel was good. I stayed in this hotel around 8 months back on relaxation trip. The rooms were spacious and maintained with clean pillows and bedspreads. I had no idea about room view. The taste of the food was good and pricing was economical. North Indian, South Indian and Chinese food were available. Pool and activities, WiFi facilities were not available. Overall, experience in the hotel was good.
Mysore is a paradise for tourist. Every tourist must see the destination which is colourful and everlasting experience. Everybody should see its famous palace, Zoo & birds sanctuary. Hotel Roopa is centrally located and it's very near to bus stand and railway station and very close to other places. Roopa as on looks beautiful and elegant and have a very good reception with tradition kings possession and people are friendly and have good facilities. On this budget hostel is really excellent and transparent look and the corridor look really nice. Rooms of course compact and layout well and the Bath room are provided with bathtub. Housekeeping is the one that really need to be upgraded and morning breakfast is really excellent with variety of foods
The hotel in undoubtedly very convenient to reach from the Mysore bus stand and is easily accessible too. It stands out for its road facing transparent escalator and roof top barbecuing room. It is close to the prime attraction of Mysore, the palace. It is basically an economic comfortable and no frills hotel, where you can enjoy with your family. They give you breakfast coupons and the buffet breakfast is really wholesome. The hotel is located in an area which has a lot of good restaurants around, although I decided to stay in this hotel when I heard about its great rooftop dining hall which offers a good view of Mysore . . The food is great, room service is normally prompt, except the dining hours. The staff are non interfering and polite. I still remember that in the wee hours of the morning I required a cab and it was arranged without any hassles, though I had informed the desk the previous night. The only point I disliked the first and second floor rooms as the windows are adjacent to the rooftop of an adjoining property and it can be really irksome at times. The view from these rooms is also nothing to cheer about, though the top floors are excellent. However, this could be due to the tourist rush. (Pre booking is advised). I would definitely recommend this and would go there for further stays
I had visited Mysore with family for tourism purpose, we find you facility at good location, excellent room service, nice food, nice hospitality, rooms were also clean and neatly maintained, well mannered staff, the rates were fairly okay. Hotel is good. Rooms are spacious; the hotel is located at 5 min distance from Mysore Palace. Palace view was not visible from room. Hotel has its own restaurant but I did not have my food . . Hotel Roopa is centrally located and near to Mysore palace. We stayed in double room which is okay for 1 or 2 nights. The best part of the Hotel is the Restaurant which is ready to serve various cuisines. This place added comfort on my stay, the food was yummy.
Hotel was located at very near to the bus stop. Location was fabulous. Staff behavior was professional. Inner and outer look of the hotel was very good. Rooms were neat, clean and well maintained. Any view was not available from the room. Food was tasty. Veg and non-veg all varieties were available. Reception of the hotel was cooperative. Nothing was available in activities. Hotel did not arrange any sightseeing trip. I can recommend this hotel for tourists. It was a relaxed holiday with my family.
