"Roses upon Roses"

  • 6.00/7
  • Posted 1 week ago
The gardens are on a hillside so the gardens are terraced. They appear to go on and on, with many varieties, some are hidden away. The valley, surrounding hills are visible at all points. Visitors can learn something of the history of the gardens at the entrance. One might take an umbrella or rain coat in case of rain. Walking shoes are a good idea for anywhere in the valley on any excursion and like other adventures not carrying a lot of gear is preferable.

"Just a regular rose garden"

This is just a regular rose garden where you will only find roses, nothing much. It's better you avoid to save time for better places.

Rose garden not well maintained. It will be better to appoint a guide or narrator to explain about the garden.

There were like a 100 kind of roses. Each with different colour and type. There was a board that indicated every rose's meaning. Each one had its own speciality and nature.

Its roses all over the place. So many varieties, different sizes and colours that they would mesmerise you. You feel like out of world. As if you are in a Utopia - in a heavenly place. Excellent maintenance. Never seen so many roses at one place!

"For rose lovers"

  • 6.00/7
  • Posted 2 months ago
The gardenis far and wide. We could not cover all as rains intervened. We could only see the rose buds as the time of our visit which did not coincide with the full bloom of the roses. I understand there are many varieties on view. This a must visit if you love roses.
