This hotel is located in Fort Kochi and a very convenient place. It is very near to sea. My experience here was very nice. The front desk person helped in getting local tours. Hotel staff are very cooperative and helpful. Food provided by hotel was also very nice. I recommend people travelling to Fort Kochi to experience the stay in this hotel with economic budget.

It is a good Inn to stay in this price range.

Pros:

> Classic looking garden with restaurant attached and some of the really good food.
> Local shacks are nearby
> Beer & wine parlor
> Lake/backwater, beach nearby

Cons:

> Room could be better
> Can arrange local sightseeing trip or a map

Nice heritage hotel in the heart of Kochi Fort. Comfortable rooms with decent food and a very friendly service. The courtyard is fabulous and I enjoyed reading books and drinking coffee. The dinner is invariably accompanied by live music which is very soothing.

The hotel enjoys the benefit of location. The hotel is built in Portuguese style (Frankly speaking I did not find much difference why one should visit this place just to look for Portuguese building). You will enjoy the morning breakfast served in the hotel; the courtyard and the trees give you a relaxing feeling. The WiFi signal is poor and is allowed only near the front desk (this logic was beyond my understanding).

Was much better than we expected. Because of the blissful garden and quality food, ended up having all our meals at the hotel. Very friendly staff took care of everything. Rooms are clean and spacious with a historical atmosphere. Would go back anytime!

Worst room provided. Food in breakfast is good. Location is also good. All other things like room, bed, WCs, Mirrors, AC, TV, Bed sheets and Towels, Lockers, Chairs everything was not as expected. Much below average. I will not recommend this restaurant. Mainly foreigners stay there. I think all good/better rooms are allocated to them and others are available on online portals.

We loved the look of the hotel and rooms, the staff was also decent. Though we only had one breakfast here and no other meals, we had to wait a lot for the breakfast to come. They also charged us Rs. 30 per bottle for water. Overall, the hotel was decent and value for money, considering the location.

We stayed there yesterday night. Rooms were kind of OK. But service is too bad. Yesterday night, when we asked for dinner, we were told their staff are on leave and the so restaurant. We were offered complimentary breakfast during the booking time. Morning when we called up asking about the timing, they said everything will be ready by 8 Am. But on reaching the restaurant, we could not find anyone. On asking the guy in the front desk, he said the cooking staff haven't yet arrived. Finally we were forced to leave the hotel at 8:30, on empty Stomach as they had no staff. The guy in the front desk wasn't not even bothered to look at us while talking. He had his eyes on his mobile phone.

The hotel is at a very nice location near the sea and the people were very friendly as we had reached at 4am and everything was closed and got to know about the hotel online. The interiors were good and rooms were big and worth the price paid for. The owner was a very nice person and helped us a lot in our stay.

It was a wonderful experience for me going to Kerala as my honeymoon destination and I was more than happy for staying at Rossitta Wood Castle. I loved the serenity and calmness of the place in the middle of a busy city. The warm welcome and hearty service was a wonderful experience, along with the clean and comfortable rooms. The top wooden ceiling in an open and spacious room, sunlight beaming and playing inside the rooms lighting it up. One can find the Indian culture carefully preserved and treasured here. The interiors are all ethnic, simple and clean. A home away from home. The sense of history is wonderful, our room overlooked the courtyard and the warm smell of wood will be my lasting memory.

Well, I must say about the location. If you stay in any hotel, you would surely love to stay where you don't have to waste your time traveling much. The beach is very close to Rossitta and one can enjoy the sun and sand very nicely. The hotel is very close to St. Francis Basilica Fort, Kochi beach and Chinese fishing nets.

The staff is friendly and is always on toes to help which makes Rossitta a very friendly place to be. Joby Joseph and others are really kind guys and make you feel really comfortable. The Wi-Fi connection is an added advantage which is quite rare. They also organized a taxi in very less time for our further travel and sightseeing.

The wooden corridors are magnificent, beautiful and calm. If you are traveler seeking for peace and tranquility you have to be here. It has a beautiful open courtyard which is adorned with beautiful flowers and when you are in it you just feel but relaxed, calm and happy. And with delicious food being served in the open courtyard it is truly a castle experience.

I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to visit Cochin in future. To all the members of Rositta Castle, keep up the good work and kudos for the effort you have put in keeping up the place so well.
