It was a wonderful experience for me going to Kerala as my honeymoon destination and I was more than happy for staying at Rossitta Wood Castle. I loved the serenity and calmness of the place in the middle of a busy city. The warm welcome and hearty service was a wonderful experience, along with the clean and comfortable rooms. The top wooden ceiling in an open and spacious room, sunlight beaming and playing inside the rooms lighting it up. One can find the Indian culture carefully preserved and treasured here. The interiors are all ethnic, simple and clean. A home away from home. The sense of history is wonderful, our room overlooked the courtyard and the warm smell of wood will be my lasting memory. Well, I must say about the location. If you stay in any hotel, you would surely love to stay where you don't have to waste your time traveling much. The beach is very close to Rossitta and one can enjoy the sun and sand very nicely. The hotel is very close to St. Francis Basilica Fort, Kochi beach and Chinese fishing nets. The staff is friendly and is always on toes to help which makes Rossitta a very friendly place to be. Joby Joseph and others are really kind guys and make you feel really comfortable. The Wi-Fi connection is an added advantage which is quite rare. They also organized a taxi in very less time for our further travel and sightseeing. The wooden corridors are magnificent, beautiful and calm. If you are traveler seeking for peace and tranquility you have to be here. It has a beautiful open courtyard which is adorned with beautiful flowers and when you are in it you just feel but relaxed, calm and happy. And with delicious food being served in the open courtyard it is truly a castle experience. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to visit Cochin in future. To all the members of Rositta Castle, keep up the good work and kudos for the effort you have put in keeping up the place so well.
This hotel is located in Fort Kochi and a very convenient place. It is very near to sea. My experience here was very nice. The front desk person helped in getting local tours. Hotel staff are very cooperative and helpful. Food provided by hotel was also very nice. I recommend people travelling to Fort Kochi to experience the stay in this hotel with economic budget.
I started my South trip from Kochi and went all the way to Kanyakumari and all I can say is that this was the perfect place to start my journey from. The ambience, all wood interiors, the beautiful open porch restaurant was just a perfect setting to sit relax and chill. The staff at the place was just amazing and the food is one of the best in the fort Kochi area I had majority of my meals here. Another place for food which is a little expensive is Old Harbor hotel its the only other place that has excellent food apart from Rossitta Wood Castle. The only loophole of this place is its view as being exceptionally near the sea it doesn't overlook it. But if you are a traveler like me who throughout the day is out on the streets apart from meals and when you need to crash and loves a calm peaceful environment then you would love this place. Also the staff is extremely helpful in arranging any trips around for you all you need to do is just ask them and they will inform you all about it and arrange for the same. All in all a big thumbs up from me for this place and i am gonna stay here even at my next visit.
The stay was very good. Very calm and cozy place. I would definitely come back agian for a stay with my family.
The hotel is at a very nice location near the sea and the people were very friendly as we had reached at 4am and everything was closed and got to know about the hotel online. The interiors were good and rooms were big and worth the price paid for. The owner was a very nice person and helped us a lot in our stay.
