Tasty food; small rooms with no facilities

4.8/7
Posted 12 Aug, 2014

This hotel was located in a picturesque spot along the meandering Jayanti River forming a natural border with beautiful Bhutan hills on top of the Jayanti river. The booking was done over the phone by sending advance money and the rest on arrival. There was no problem at check-in and check-out. There were pick-up and drop. Whatever food was ordered was prepared and served. Boroli fish was prepared and served that was tasty. There was no facility in the small rooms which were neat and clean with mosquitoes. Wellhead staff who responded to calls. Jayanti River was dry and I could not experience its full steam. The rooms had a very large veranda with red on top and green on the floor with rows of chairs. There was no activity available. The hotel arranged for vehicles if asked for. I travelled to this place in March 2014 with family and friends.

Excellent staff; good facilities in room

Hotel is overall good. It is located at about 1. 5-2 kms distanced from station. TV, AC, carpet, intercom, hot water, etc facilities was available in the room. Bed was neat and clean. Toilet was clean and tidy. Coffee maker was not available there. Whatever we ordered, we got that immediately and staff was excellent. Hotel has two types of restaurant. Veg restaurant is situated on the left side of the hotel and non-veg restaurant is situated nearby beach. I went there with my family in October 2013. It was a relaxation trip.

Rovers inn was an average hotel, service served by the staff was not up to the mark but rooms were neat and we preferred food from other restaurant. The hotel was located at good place and appearance was beautiful. We faced small issue at the time of check out, that wasn't serious but would recommend to improve their service at front office and We had done our booking in advance. Overall, Agarthala was good place to stay.

The hotel is cheap and good one from all side. It was a great moment I have spend in Jainti at Rovers Inn. Rooms are same as shown in the pictures and food is really delicious like home made. The natural view from the balcony was fabulous. I have stayed for 3 days. I will definitely refer this hotel if you are planning for a trip in Rovers Inn Jainti.
