In the month of February I went to this hotel for holiday with family for relaxation. The destination was nice specially the backwaters. The hotel location was on the backwaters and the best part was the infinity pool. The best way to reach this hotel was by car, Hotel appearance was very good specially the structure of the hotel. I booked this hotel directly and the hotel reception people were prompt and polite. The hotel service was a bit slow. Room provided was good although the washroom maintained was not up to the mark. The food was not included in my package and I found the price for the same was really expensive. Spa was available and in fact Wi-Fi was available complimentary. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The overall experience of mine at this stay was very good and I was somehow satisfied with the trip.

For a swimming aficionado the place is heaven. The temperature of the water is just write throughout the day and they tell me through out the year. You can go for a swim at any time better still, stay there. The resort itself is built in the backwaters. The swimming pool is located in the middle of the resort, with a fantastic view of the backwaters. The resort also owns a house boat (Kettuvallom as called in Kerala) and taking a cruise, is just what the doctor ordered. The choice of the cuisine is limited, however, whatever the cooking and service is excellent. For non-veg people the Duck and Fish dishes are excellent. One must have the Kareemein Fish and Duck. In Kerala Duck eating is ceremonial. A walk in the morning to the nearby bird sanctuary located nearby say about 6 km from the resort is most invigorating, informative, and romantic. Don't forget to take your cameras. Massage is a must.

There was no delay during check-in and check-out process and the hotel is worth for the money.

The location of the resort was excellent and the staff was very hospitable. It is an ideal place for relaxing. International guests will not be satisfied with the Restaurant as they only good in kerala dishes. Overall experience was very good and will definitely recommend this resort to our friends who are planning to visit Kerala.
I stayed in Hotel Royal Riviera in Kumarakom. I found Hotel Riviera best of all these. I found well-behaved staff with hospitality. In front of the hotel there is a beautiful swimming pool. Neat, clean and a well-furnished room, from balcony I could see the river view with moving house boats. Hotel provided us houseboat in nominal rates, we enjoyed long boating. If you provide better North Indian dishes with pure ghee not Coconut oil, also a disco dance platform in hall, I will call this hotel 5 star. Best wishes.
