Saad Hotel is a very good hotel in the overcrowded city, Kolkata. Superb hospitality, mouth watering food, beautiful room. The hotel is situated near to the Park Circus, close to the major attractions like Nicco Park, Science City, Eco Park and Quest Mall. The staff are very polite and welcoming. Hotel manager was always there to help if any problem occurred. The food is great. The breakfast was very much delicious, we just loved that. The rooms are very cozy and are maintained. In short, a perfect destination for business travelers, family and International visitors.
1. This is a good hotel, guys. The staff is good and greet you every time they see you. 2. Our room was cleaned everyday. 3. We even forgot to close the room twice when we went out for the day and nothing happened Cons:. 1. They need to improve the options in breakfast. When I stayed in June, they had potato Puri, Cornflakes, potato Parathas and everything looked too oily to eat. We had to eat only Cornflakes for our 3 days stay there. But hey, we got newspaper ( though only once in three days). My biggest problem was the distance from Park Street, it is about 4-5 km. We ended up paying 250-300 rupees everyday only on taxi to park street. (I had specifically asked for Park Street hotel so as to minimize my everyday visits to the area). I had only come to Kolkata for a few days with sister and none of us was familiar to the place. I should have used Google Map, my fault Okay, so the hotel is in a slum area and my sister felt uncomfortable every time she walked out in a dress as people stared at her. We made sure we book taxi to pick us up from the hotel gate 4. The room had a window with grills and only 20% of the window could be opened. That then and there was a deal breaker. I love to have some fresh air, so open-able window is a must 5. We had booked Double Room but, it felt small so as per the space, 1800 rupees something per night is way too expensive. I would probably pay a 800-1000 rupees for it I will not stay at this hotel again but Best of Luck! (Location is not hotel's fault. They can improve some services though).
In the month of March, I visited this city for a holiday trip. It was a terrible city to visit. The hotel location was good; the hotel was near to my destination. Car was the best way to reach this place. The appearance of the hotel was good; the interior and exterior was good. It was an online booking. The front office was poor; they made me wait for long time. The rooms was poor to stay, it was not clean and not hygienic. Room service was provided. The food was average to taste. The activity was average. Free WiFi facility available. The overall the experience was average.
It was a business trip. Location was nice. My overall experience was good in this hotel. Look wise the hotel was average. Booking and front office was superb. Services were fully satisfactory. Staff behavior was friendly and helpful. Rooms were neat and clean. TV, AC, tea maker and other basic amenities were available. Food was fabulous. Indoor and outdoor activities were not available. I stayed for three days in this hotel. I can recommend this hotel for others.
What a fantastic hotel. The staff go out of their way to assist wherever they can and the first thing we noticed was how every staff member that greeted us in the lobby or in the lifts knew our name. Although the hotel building itself is a bit small considering the number of rooms, the executive lounge is great. Rooms are very neat. It was a really good hotel for me.
