Sachcha Baba Ashram is situated at a distance of 13 km from Allahabad railway station. It lies on the road running beside the Yamuna and faces the Triveni Sangam in Arail. The sprawling campus of this ashram has a temple within.
The ashram was founded in 1953 by Sachcha Baba Kulanandji after he was commanded by his master, Sachcha Baba Girnari, to do so, in a vision. He was also asked to have the mantra ‘Prabhu Aap Jago’ chanted there and this was done for 12 consecutive years from 1960-1972. At the end of the 12 years, a grand fire ceremony, Lakschandi Mahayagna, was held. The ceremony was held in order to bring peace and harmony to the world.
