Sadiya is a sub-divisional headquarters of the district of Tinsukia. This place was once the central market for all the tribes residing in the north-eastern region. It is popular for a temple named Tameswari, which is a Shakti worship centre of Assam. This place can be reached by crossing the Brahmaputra River through a ferry, from the Dhola Ghat.
