It was sited in a convenient place which was easy to move around the places. The staffs were respectable and the service they provided was excellent. The appearance of the hotel was good looking. The room given to me had all the amenities in working conditions, it was also spacious, kept neat and clean. It was superb as we stayed in a tree house. I have a jungle view in the room. The food in the hotel was tasty and good in quality. There was no delay in check-in and check-out procedure. It was my relaxation trip with my husband. The money spent on the hotel was worth paid and I will suggest this place for other tourists.

We had an excellent time at the resort during our visit to the Mudumalai tiger reserve. The resort had a collection of a great variety of trees and the Giant Malabar Squirrel peeped at us from the branches. Many bird nests could be noted on the trees and we woke up to the calls of the Malabar whistling thrush.

A must for every adventurer is a stay in the tree-house here which is very exciting and gives you the feeling of staying up in a machan.

The food, though a bit expensive, was at par in quality with any good restaurant.

The whole ambience of the resort, the open bamboo designed dining hall, the cottages and tree-houses gave an excellent feeling of being a part of the jungle life in the presence of modern amenities.

The bonfire area and the games area provided a great place for spending time with families and friends.

The owner of the resort is Nawab Shah Fath Ali Khan, India' s only licensed man-eater hunter and though we missed an opportunity to meet him as he wasn't there at that time, I would suggest others to not miss the opportunity.

The resort caters to both adventurous group as well as families with safety on their mind. The tree house was wonderful to see, tempting to stay in but I selected a brick room to stay in because of fear of any creeping things in the night. The breakfast buffet was awesome. I could hear sounds of animals in the early morning. The resort is located right in the middle of the forest which surprised me.

The location is awesome we enjoyed like anything there. It is there in the deep forest and you might get a chance to see wild animals there "if you are really lucky" ;)
The quality of food was great but variety was less.
We stayed in tree house and it was amazing.
overall It was a great experience.

The location of the hotel was good and I did not find any issues in finding the hotel. Vegetarian and non- vegetarian food was served. I ate food in the hotel and it was good in quality and in taste. The rooms were like tree house, only basic amenities were provided to the rooms. I had a good forest view from my room. Room service was on time. Safari and camp fire was arranged. But no much outdoor activity was available. No delay was made in check-in check-out. The charge made by them was reasonable.

We had an Amazing experience at this resort in Mudumalai tiger reserve. This resort is running by an Hyderabadi family at the midst of the forest. The Facilities were very good and rooms were well cleaned and food was just delicious and yummy. Best part of the resort is tree houses near the stream and outdoor games. Overall we had an excellent stay at Safari land resort Bokkapuram and we loved it :)

All travellers who visit Mudumalai, they should visit safari land resort.

Categorised as one of the best ooty resorts, safari land resort offers lush green surroundings clubbed with warm and cordial atmosphere. The cool and pleasant weather, refreshing climate, streams and the varied wildlife makes this resort unique. This eco-friendly property is nestled in close proximity of mudumalai wildlife sanctuary, on the foothills of nilgiri blue mountains. This resort offers a unique opportunity to explore the forest and jungles of nilgiri region and witness their wildlife closely. Asiatic elephant, bear, deer and several species of birds can be spotted on the tours to these forests and jungles. Amongst various accommodations offered by the resort, machan, 3- bedded, 4-bedded, luxury and standard rooms the different types. Nature lovers can also choose to stay in twin tree house or exclusive tree house. The resort can be easily accessed from coimbatore railway station as well as airport. The rooms have facilities like television, internet access, bathrobes, hot and cold water, newspaper, safe deposit locker and several other necessary commodities. In addition to the internet access, business facilities, conference halls and doctor on call service, the resort also has a well equipped health club and a delightful swimming pool.

It way nestled among the forests of Mudumalai, far away from any hustle and bustle of ooty. It is not a strikingly beautiful place but tries to stay close to forest around in experience. It is a quite big place. Very shady with lots of trees.

Their tree house is quite is a nice place for a couple to stay. It is well furnished. And their room are decent and retains a rustic charm. Though I felt it would have been better if we had a TV my wife was happy about the lack of TV. The matresses could have been better

Food is really good and satisfying. though 750 per head per sounds costly you will find it is worth the amount.

Activities: They take you for trekking, A forest safari, visit to a river near by and a visit to a peak(We did not do the last one). they also have volley ball, Badminton, Ping-pong, Food ball etc. A cricket net would have been better though(or may be i am asking too much)

Service and staff: This requires a special mention. They have most friendly, Patient, understanding, and really down to earth people. They are always armed with a smile and happy to listen to concerns and answer your quries.

Best Experience: Tree house is the highlight. It makes you feel like being amidst an adventure. the view is ok. You can see a few peak and unfortunately for us the river which was running below was dry.

The ambiance is good. it really feel good to hide under a blanket on cold nights. you will never feel like getting up in the morning.

Worst Experience: The paved ways could have been done with 'stones without sharp Edges'. Me and my wife enjoy walking bare foot, but not this time due to sharp stones

1) Stayed at Safariland Masinagudi in Treehouse for 1 nights in March, 2014
2) Experience of staying at a tree house was interesting, though it felt really spooky at night since the location was in middle of jungle, but that added fun element.
3) Insects and mosquitoes is a major problem so be prepared.
4) Food was very good.
5) Fan was not working and had to call the reception multiple times to get it fixed. Was deeply disappointed since eventually the electrician turned up around 1.5 hours after relentless follow up. This could have been handled in a better way by letting me know the correct status rather than keeping me waiting.
6) I felt this price is way overpriced for the amenities provided like towels, toiletries etc. Talk volumes about the quality.
7) Overall a very mixed experience.

It didn't take much time for the check-in and check out procedure. The interior and exterior appearance was quite good. The housekeeping staff were cleans the room regularly. The room given to me was very spacious and comfortable. Hot and cold water facility was provided. The swimming pool was there at the hotel. All the basic amenities were working properly. The jungle view was seen from the window of the room. The quality of the food was good and the taste of the food was nice. The hotel served both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The price was little expensive.
