I had been to this hotel and had a good stay. The location of the hotel was good. The appearance of the hotel was good internally and externally. The check in and checkout was done on time. The staff members in the hotel were helpful and friendly. The room allotted to us was maintained well with all amenities working properly. The food served in the hotel was good in quality and taste. There were no activities in the hotel.
The hotel was located nearby the railway station. The hotel was located far from the city. The provided room was congested. The check in and check out process was not delayed. The room service was average. I had booked this room by online. The swimming pool was available in the hotel. The destination of the hotel was very good. I had visited this hotel for personal purpose. The Wi-Fi connection was provided in the room. The food quality was not good in the hotel. I would not suggest anything to this hotel.
The hotel location was very good. I had booked the room by online. I had visited this hotel for family trip. The complimentary breakfast was not given by the hotel. There was no delay in check-in and check-out. The room facility was not good.
The room price was reasonable in the hotel. I had visited this hotel alone for official tour. Everything was good in the hotel. The room provided by the hotel was neat and clean. All amenities were available in the room. The food and drinks were available in the hotel was good. The activities were not available in the hotel. I would not suggest anything to this hotel.
Not only every thing was dirty the food was worst. Bed bugs. Rancid blankets. The behavior if the staff was worst in Gujrat who otherwise were very hospitable and nice people. It is a certain no. Any other hotel in the city will certainly better than thus.
Sagar Darshan is an excellent place to stay. It is just at the back of Somnath temple, only a 2 minutes walk. All the rooms are very spacious, well appointed with room service for tea/coffee. The speciality is that all rooms are sea facing, just drag a chair in the balcony and watch the moods of sea. On the ground floor there is very beautiful walking around and sitting space with beautifully done up walkways and lawns. In the basement there is a big restaurant serving vegetarian varieties of food to meet all tastes at reasonable rates. The front office is very friendly and efficient. So Sagar Darshan is an excellent choice to stay in Somnath.
This is a nice place to stay for those want darshan of Somnath repeatedly. The hotel is just behind the temple. This hotel has a nice restaurant. The balcony of the room is very big and one can spend a lot of time watching the ocean. The bad thing about the hotel is hot water. It is supplied from 5 am to 11 am. Evening if you want to take a bath in winter, you are dead.
All rooms here are sea facing and as this is run by the temple trust the prices are very reasonable for the room that you get. The rooms and huge with the balcony opening to the sea view. Neat and clean rooms, bathrooms are also neat and clean, scope for a lot of improvement, but overall the entire room is very comfortable. The front office were very poor in checking us in, checking out, they seemed to be always busy with some accounting work and least bothered about what the guest wanted. The dining area on the ground level was one of the best places. Great food, tastes more like homemade rather than eating out.
The allotted room was spacious clean and well maintained. Service was very good. Behaviour of the staff's was polite and helpful. All the facility was provided inside the room with working condition. Garden and lawn was available inside the hotel. Parking facility was provided. Sea shore and temple was nearby the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for upcoming travellers. The hotel was located inside the city.
the hotel was located near to the temple and 4-5 km away from railway station. I visited the hotel along with my friends and family for religious trip. The appearance of the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and well maintained. TV, AC, geyser and other basic facility provided in the room were working fine. There was sea view from the room. There was garden, lawn and activity area in the hotel. The behaviour of the staff was very good. Wi-Fi facility was provided in the hotel. Best part of the hotel view and location. Overall experience in the hotel was very good. I would like to recommend this hotel to other travellers.

[My family & I stayed 04. 07. 2015-05. 07. 2015, wide Registration No. A-697 (JND) ]. The location of the guest house is just superb. It is situated right next to the temple & beach. We stayed for a night and got an AC room on the first floor. The view from the room was beautiful with a view of both the temple and the beach from the huge balcony. One need to book online well in advance you need to pay an advance of Rs. 2000 (room rent of Rs. 1500 + a deposit of Rs. 500). Highly recommended.
This hotel is just behind the Somnath temple and so very near from Somnath temple and sea. View from room is super awesome. They provide balcony and you can enjoy view from there. Every room have same sea view. Breakfast in the restaurant located is very nice, specially aloo paratha, while for lunch you can go for north Indian and don't try Gujarati one. It is not any 5 star hotel so no WiFi, no fitness centre. TV with enough channels in room. Service is nice. Its not any star hotel still I prefer this over any just because of location and view.
This property is located at the edge of the sea. Every room is sea facing which gives you the opportunity to just check in without a second thought about the prefrences each one of us have. There are 3 floors and view from the third floor balcony is just great. The rooms are big and clean with good washrooms with quality bath fittings. It is the closest property to the temple so you cn visit as many times. Thrs no room service but food served at the rrestaurant is having good taste and is hygienic. The staff is very cooperative and helpful. Would recommend travellers to check in at sagar darshan and feel the beauty of nature at an affordable price.
The overall, experience of staying in this hotel is great as well as memorable too. Somnath is famous tourist hub, that's why I visited. One important thing this hotel provide only A/C rooms. We book two deluxe rooms in this hotel costing Rs 1500/- each. Hotel had great amenities, such as Large clean A/C rooms in which A/C was working good and silently, Sofa, table-chairs and most important a balcony with a close sea view. Staff was very kind and helpful. Manger was polite. Check-in and check-out process was smooth and fast. Restaurant of this hotel is in the ground floor and reception is at first. Menu was limited only Gujarati and Rajathani thali but food taste was awesome. The rooms in first floor had a great long balcony then rest of the rooms so, preferred first floor rooms. But when I visited all rooms in first floor were full. Book in advance to have no trouble.
The overall experience was very good and it was a religious trip to this place with my family in December. The hotel was convenient to locate since it was situated in city. The surrounding of the hotel is excellent and sea view is available from hotel. The staff behaviour in the hotel was friendly and they were quick in service. There was no delay in check-in or checkout process. The appearance of the hotel is very good and interiors are fine, but it can be decorated much better. The room allotted to us was spacious and neatly maintained with all the necessary amenities, and there was a sea view available from window. We did not eat food at the hotel but the restaurant serves complete veg food. The hotel had sightseeing trip arrangement but we did not prefer it. Overall, I had a fantastic experience here and this hotel is the best hotel in Somnath.
