I had been there for a business trip. Had a pleasant stay there but the service desk is most lazy, they took almost half an hour to deliver a fruit table, and the toiletries were absolutely not up to the mark. My colleague and I missed our flight because of their delay in response from the room service and front desk. Restaurant was not informed about the guest stay, even after clarifying repeatedly they presented a cheque for my breakfast.

Decided to spend a night on a business trip and then take an afternoon flight from the domestic airport.
Right from walking in to the hotel to the minute of the complementary airport drop, there was an element of service of the highest order. The room service was prompt and the facilities were top-notch. The in-room dining turned out to be great. The food was amazing. Have been to Namak a number of times and found it amongst the best restaurants in Mumbai. The breakfast buffet had a very good spread. If you are in a situation same as mine, Sahara Star was the unquestionable choice.

Had been to Jade Auditorium for a couple of business seminars. My experience was really good. Food quality was good and does match its 5 star status. The auditorium is large enough to house approx 500 people. The entrance lobby was grand with running horses and flowing water, gives a feeling of horses running over water. It looks even majestic in the evening with light effects in the dark. Furthermore, the hotel offers a number of restaurants, large sitting areas, and is overall very comfortable. The entire hotel was yet to be completed and would look much more awesome once completed. It was proximity to the airport just adds more to its business value.

The hotel is located near the Airport and can be reached within 10 minutes, the check-in process was easy, the rooms were super clean.

Good place, great ambiance and pleasing & smiling staff. The rooms are good, clean toilets with good quality toiletries. The bed, pillows offered are of great quality. However, the lobby is still under construction and the temporary one was very crowded; the temporary entrance to the hotel is also crowded forcing you to manoeuvre your way through cars, taxis, hotel staff and large number of security personnel.

Nearest 5 star to the airport, its a really awesome place to be at. The food is great and ambiance is really really good. Lovely place to celebrate new year at.

The hotel is really good, location is nice. The hotel has very nice big 5 star quality rooms and room service is also prompt. The new year party was also great. Total value for money.

I stayed at Sahara Star for last week. Location and size of property is excellent, wasted in my opinion. Hotel doesnít have five star class in anything though is rated so and charges accordingly -staff is clinical not warm - for a night layover itís an excellent place - nothing else. All the way hotel is excellent.

The hotel is really good. The location is nice. Room service was also prompt. We had our meals in the hotel and they were delicious. I would recommend it to all. Mumbai itself is the best place and the hotel had best of paintings which gives a royal look. The hotel also offers additional services like sightseeing, gym, indoor pools etc.

It was a family reunion the food, was good but the location is not so lavish. The rooms are comfortable but they are not worth the cash you have to pay upfront to stay in those rooms. Hotel Sahara Star may as well have the record for the longest hotel renovation in the history of mankind.

Hotel Sahara Star may as well have the record for the longest hotel renovation in the history of mankind. I cannot recall a time in my life when this hotel was not undergoing some kind of renovation. To a certain extent, it has been well worth the wait (accept for the fact that the renovations are still not completed!). Anyone who has been inside the hotel recently can't help but really like what they have done with the place. What I enjoyed the most is standing on one of the upper floors and looking down. Itís a refreshing change from the regular shiny marble interiors. Almost like a mini rainforest in the middle of the hotel. Service is great, as would be expected from a 5 star hotel. The fact that it is at the turn towards the domestic airport makes driving into and out of the hotel a bit tricky.

I had booked the hotel well in advance (Earth room and a weekend package (MAP basis) which proved to be beneficial. The food is excellent be it lunch or breakfast. The breakfast boasts a very good collection of the usual stuff seen and can be described as a lavish one! Same thing can be said for lunch (though don't know about dinner). Rooms are extremely huge, spacious, beds are comfy and sleep was great without any ache/pains! Balcony is also quite big with ample space for breakfast (if one prefers room service!). Staff are incredibly polite and helpful and always with a smile on the face.
