I had been to this hotel with my wife and this hotel is located in the city and we did not have any problem in location. Cab facility was not available at the hotel. There was no delay while check-in and check-out process. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. The appearance of the hotel was good. The staffs at the hotel were friendly in behaviour and they used to provide service on time. The amenities in the room were in good condition. The food provided to us was vegetarian and it was good in taste. Parking facility was not available at the hotel.
The hotel place was very good. The food was included in the package. I had visited this hotel with my wife. The hotel location was good. The activity was available in the hotel. The overall experience was very good in the hotel. I didn’t check Wi-Fi facility in the hotel.
If you want to have a relax vacation for two days.....this is the first place to Visit. It is near Dombe Village, Paduvari, Byndoor, udupi district. All veg..... non alcoholic beach resort. They serve very delicious food....different variety every day.....staff members are always attentive with a smile....very cooperative. Major highlight of this place is, they have a private beach entry for 250 meters, all beach games available, you will always feel safe in beach as they don't allow you without life guard and you will always safe as there will be minimum 5 guards to help you......
The speciality of the resort is its exclusive beach resort. the location about two hours drive from mangalore on pune highway. may be less as my tires developed puncture. the looks of hotel was appealing. their was option of cottage or A/c rooms. cottage even though good was slightly expensive. the food is pure vegetarian and still mouth watering. the beaches were some what clean and luckily not spoilt because alcohol was not permitted. the services in hotel and room was good. there was plenty of avenue for different activities in the beach. overall worth the time spent
I went to Sai Vishram resort for a family holiday. The experience was very good. The rooms were good and very spacious. There was no pool but the private beach was really good. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and co-operative. Inspite of heavy rains, they were always on time. The room service was also good. The items in the room used to be replenished daily. The one thing I did not know was that it was very secluded. So, there are no alternate restaurants (the one inside the resort is excellent) and chemists/groceries. I went during the monsoon which was difficult to go in the beach. I do would not change anything else about the room. Overall, it was a very relaxing vacation in a quiet area and helped to forget all tensions. I would recommend it very highly to anyone looking to relax. For those who are adventurous, the resort provides activities such as jet skiing.
Hotel was okay. It was located at about 400 meters distance from beach. Location of the hotel was okay but road condition was not good. Outside of the hotel was made in old fashioned but inside look was good. Booking, front office, and reception service was good. Staff services were perfect. Whenever you required anything, they served you quickly. Staff behavior was helpful and friendly. Ambience was not up to the mark. I had no problem during check in and check out. Rooms were well maintained. TV and geyser was not there. Rooms were average. Food was available and it was delicious. There were a lot of activities available. Kundapur is an average place as tourism. I went there with my family in the month of October 2013.
Location of this hotel was fine. Staff of this hotel was good in behavior and friendly. Appearance of the hotel was very well maintained and clean. Room was well furnished and spacious. Room was equipped with AC, TV, geyser, and other extra amenities were present in the room with proper functioning. Food was up to the mark with all dishes like South Indian, North Indian, but all was veg category. I liked roti, dal, and sabzi of this hotel because I am pure veg. person. Check in and check out procedure was quick. Swimming pool was available there but it was not well spacious. Everybody can enjoy there and I will recommend this hotel it is economical also. This place is really value for money. I went there with my family in December 2013 for relaxing.
I went to kollur moogambigai temple last November. After 'devi dharshan 'next day, I happened to visit Sai Vishram Resort for taking our break fast. After reaching there we are surprised to see the cottages and sea-shore and boating we decided to stay there for a day. This is a best place for family members who likes vegetarian food and non-alchahal drinks. Several variety of food items with yummy taste are supplied by the staff who are very coutesious. We stayed at the resort facing sea-shore. During the night you can hear the 'ohm' sound of the sea and have a sound sleep. Next day we had morning walk in the sea-shore. Taking bath in the is also a great experience. In the morning we took tiffen with good taste. An unforgettable movement in my life. People who are going Kollur Moogambika temple can visit Sai Vishram Resorts to have a pleasant experience.
Although the resort is located a few kms from the main road, the hotel staff arrange a transfer and are very prompt. Service is exceptional. The food is sumptous and includes all the local flavors. The rooms are located very close to the beach and the view is amazing. The best part of your vacation is the water! There are several water sports too that you could undertake!

This review was long due as it is more than a year when we visited this place in Jan-2009. Just remembered of writing this review on how much we enjoyed at this place. We went upto train to Mangalore and taxi was available there for pick-up who first took us for a breakfast and then a 2.5 hr journey to the resort. Was tiring and hot when we reached the resort but the resort looked refreshingly beautiful once we reached there. Our overall stay was very pleasant. All meals were very good and especially the fresh fruit juices were simply refreshing. The beach was clean and simply beautiful. We went for most of water sports like jetski, banana, etc as well as went to see the dolphins in the early morning. Was really a great fun we had there and would really like to go there again sometime..
We reached mangalore Airport and were promptly picked up by the cab driver waiting with a placard. The drive to the Resort was very green and pleasant. On our arrival we were greeted by the staff and quickly transferred to our lovely room. i had spoken to Sanjay (the manager) earlier and mentioned we had a 5 year old son and to my delight we had a cottage (Batkal) that had a separate bed for him. The view from the cottage was so breathtaking. A nice clean cottage with the lovely view of the Arabian sea, and I thought this was the best thing about the Resort... but I soon realised that there were more goody\'s on their way... The food was simple but amazingly tasty. My husband\'s comment was... with this kind of Vegetarian food you do not miss the non veg at all. We all enjoyed the meals that were so lovingly prepared. The staff was top of the line. It was like the minute you thought of something, before you expressed it to them they would present it to you. The beach was very clean and every morning you could see the staff painstakingly cleaning the weeds etc that were brought to shore by the waves. The resort is very concerned about safety and always wants its visitors to wear a safety jacket even when you go a little further in the sea. There is always one life guard on the beach when any of the visitors is on the beach.... which I feel is a very good practice. They have a wide verity of water sports equipment and also organize cruise in the sea to spot Dolphins and to get the view of the Sunset in the middle of the sea, an unforgettable moment.... Their staff is very knowledgeable in their field. The resort manager also helped us organize a one day trip to Murdeshwar and Gokarna... We stayed at the resort for a good 5 days and when we were leaving the feeling we got was as if we were leaving our family members behind... I think that sums it all. We do plan to visit the resort again sometime next year...
We started Bangalore arround 12pm and after long journey we have reached Sai Vishram arround 10pm. Once we entered the premise we forgot all tiredness that moment itself. This is such an beautifull place with ample greenery in April first week of 2011. As usual the staff are waiting for us even in the night with Same smiling faces, as usual from last 4 Years!!!!
Fantastic! The location is just perfect. A point where the sea, the forest, the hills and the river come together!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful.
It was a wonderful experience on this resort. My wife and me reached Kundapoor on an overnight Bangalore Volvo bus the resort is located 30 Km away from Kundapoor which is the last stop from Bangalore. The resort had arranged a taxi for us. And the driver of the Indica was waiting for our arrival. On our way to the resort we passed through Marvanthay beach @ 7:30 in the morning it was an amazing sight. We reached the resort @ 8 and we were taken directly to our Beach facing cottage no waiting here!! We had a wholesome breakfast and went directly to the beach…The BEACH was clean and calm and for our surprise we were only 2 in the entire resort and we were thrilled. On the beach we relaxed under umbrella made using coconut leafs wow we relaxed in this peaceful atmosphere. Next day we went for an early morning Dolphin cruse and we could manage to see 4 to 5 Dolphins playing gracefully and schools of fish swimming close to surface of the sea, it was a wonderful sight … Next we had breakfast and we went to beach to ride a Jet water Scooter. We were the first people to ride the brand new Yamaha 700 Horse Power Jet scooter ohhhh what an experience it was. Rest of the day we relaxed on the beach front and we saw Sun set. We also went for Banana ride and it was fun we fell twice in the sea and it was an awesome experience swimming in the middle of the sea!!!! We had two friendly dogs accompanying us all the time we felt very secure in this place.
