The location of the hotel was very peaceful as it was away from the city. The location was fantastic and lonely. The hotel was not conveniently located and you need to have a vehicle to go there. The surroundings of the hotel were fantastic. The interior and exterior of the hotel were good. Services provided were fine. Staff people were helpful, friendly and they quickly responded to all our requests. The room was very spacious, neat, clean and well-maintained. Room was cottage type. Bed sheets, pillow covers and blankets were in clean condition. Basic amenities in the room were in working condition. There was a valley view on one side and mountain view from the other side of the room. The wash room was well-maintained. Hot water facility was available. There was no problem in check-in and check-out procedure. Food was tasty and delicious.
Extremely enjoyable. The rooms were nice and well appointed so were the staff who were very polite and helpful. The location is very nice too.Food on the menu was alright but any innovations were a strict no no! Sandwiches were their bete noire. There were a few small eateries nearby which helped.
Hotel Samudra is located on a raised area facing the Kovalam beach, within the palm groves. It's an amazing beach property - simple but careful. Rooms having sea facing balcony. Adequate open area combines with landscaped gardens ensure enough space for you and your family. There is a multi cuisine restaurant, favourite to the tourists. Room tariff is affordable. Provided concessions during off Season (March to September).
We went to the auberge with beneath expectation, as the aforementioned is captivated by KTDC. Check in was and we were in allowance aural 5 min. Rooms were ok with adulatory toiletries and tea/coffee. The auberge is anchored on a acropolis like accumulation abreast Samudra Beach. You can ability a bank just walking from allowance admitting that's not acceptable for bathe as amidst by bedrock but you can airing to Leela bank which is addition 5 min walk. It has a multi cuisine restaurant but, didn't had lunch/dinner as ante looks little bit high. Kovalam has abounding acceptable restaurant so you can accept your meal out side. Arround the auberge there are abounding acceptable restaurants abreast bank foreground but a lot of of them were bankrupt due to off season. We banquet at ablaze abode bank both night area there are abounding restaurants and cafe. We absolved to ablaze abode bank every black and acknowledgement by auto. House befitting is good. Buffet breakfast was included in allowance hire and it was ok. Fresh bake-apple juice, toast with adulate and jam, omlet, corn flex, tea/coffee, upma, dosa and paratha. But to our abruptness apartment were adequately accurate except for the two cockroaches which we saw the bathroom. The amount of aliment was on a college ancillary comparing it to the quality. The allowance account agents were acceptable as they even came and bankrupt the allowance at night 10 alarm as the allowance was abounding of bank sand. The appearance of the bank and the acreage scaping of the auberge is absolutely amazing.
First of all I'm a bit late to post this review. This is the only time we stayed in a hotel during our Kerala trip. Our Agent warned us against it, but we insisted since it right on the beach and it was a good decision. The location is perfect, has great width of ocean straight from the back door/glass panel of the room, gazing through landscaped garden until the ocean meets the horizon. Won't even had to get up from the bed to see the ocean. There is also a private beach, just go down from the back of the hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Amenities were good and staff was very helpful. The only thing, and because of which I only rate 4 start was the food, it was way below expectation from a good hotel, both for dinner as well as breakfast. We had to scroll through every option at breakfast to find something which we can eat. If they could improve this, I guess they could attract many more guests.
