"This was great! Homestay set..."

This was great! Homestay set on a meadow, amidst a coffee plantation with a rivulet stream meandering around it was refreshing! Pretty attentive owners make your stay memorable! Great value for money!

The location is just awesome and probabbly the best i have experienced so far. The hosts are very caring and it was a pleasant experience during the stay. The place is quite accessible to tourist spots nearby but simultaneously secluded as well... More

About Sand Banks

Sandbanks is located alongside the River Cauvery in Coorg. Visitors can go for nature walk, trekking and explore the flora and fauna in and around. Fishing and angling are also possible options. Places of interest like Harangi Dam, Irruppu, Abbi falls, and Nagarhole Wildlife Sanctuary are in close proximity and worth a visit.

Rooms & Amenities

Sandbanks has 4 cottages that can accommodate 2 couples in each. �Timber Cottages� have an enclosed veranda, and �Coffee Cottages� have a fireplace and open veranda. Tented accommodation is also provided. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian south Indian and Coorgi cuisine are served in the dining hall. The host's phone can be used; there are no televisions at the cottages. Fishing and boating facilities as well as indoor and outdoor recreational activities are available. Cash, cheques and drafts are accepted.
