Sangam

Sangam is an ideal confluence of Cauvery and Arkavathi Rivers, which is considered to be a picnic spot by tourists visiting this region. It gives a view of the entire region and is known for different animal species like tigers, deer, elephants and others. Travellers can also engage in birdwatching, as there are several species of native and migratory birds.

Lokapavani River also joins here with Cauvery River that further flows to Mettur Dam in Tamil Nadu. Auto-rickshaws from Srirangapattana charge around INR 30 to travel to Sangam.
