Trichy food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Trichy offers a variety of typical South Indian dishes and gourmet, probably like any other cities in Tamil Nadu with the exception of Chennai, which is now bustling with modern and western menu on its list of food offerings. Trichy maintains it historical beginnings and still exhibits its colonial buildings and its administrative relics. Food at the Thai Restaurant was very palatable, situated near the Tillai Nagar. We had very good 'roti chanai', an equivalent to Poratha in Malaysia.
