Sangla food, sight-seeing and shopping options
North Indian food is widely available. Tibetan restaurants serving momos and thukpa are also there. Taste of Tibet and Sonu Cafe are a must visit. Coffee at Taste of Tibet is just like home made coffee, with lots of milk. Their momos are superb.
Do not expect any fancy/ fine-dining restaurants.

Hotel Review of Mount Kailash Guest House
Comments: Location wise it is the best as you can view the entire valley and nearby locality at ease. Deluxe rooms are really good with private balcony. But the service is poor as the hotel is actually run single handedly by Mr.Suresh Kumar. The hotel has no intercomm or room service.
Best Experience: The stay was memorable as the entire valley was visible from the room.
Worst Experience: no room service, serving people are non-professional and some are really idiots. It is run by just one individual Mr. Suresh Kumar. He cooks, calculates bill, makes payment, goes to nearby market to buy goods, presents room to visitors, interacts wth foreigners.
