This was an official trip in the month of January. The destination was good. The site of the hotel was good as it was conveniently located near the railway station. The ambiance of the hotel was average. The front office was average since the staff's were not quick for our needs and most of the time they were not available. There were food provided in the hotel but we didn’t make use of it. The overall services were average and not up to mark. There were Wi-Fi facilities provided but the password wasn’t given.
We had taken Neeta\'s complete package from Mumbai 2 N & 3D, and it has been a pleasent experience throughout, starting with the luzurious Merc coaches for travel , very good staff, nice resort location, very good service/food. Although we didn\'t know that Mahabaleshwar tour will also include \'Mumbai darshan\' , it took us good 3 hours to actually hit the expressway! but who cares, when all you have to do is to sleep in those cozy seats of new mercedez benz coaches! Neeta\'s resort is at the heart of the city, 2 minutes walking distance from the main road (where you do all the shopping), and if you want to plan your own sight seeing , the taxi stand is also very close by. Resort itself is very well built and maintained, with lots of trees and open spaces, some of the trees are huge and weirdly spread...so scary at night, add to that dense fog, and you have all the ingredients for phoonk 4! RGV, u reading? Since we visited in the peak of monsoon, the rooms had a typical monsoon\'ish smell, but Neeta\'s staff tries everything possible to maintain the rooms as nice as possible, still I believe they can do better, same thing goes with their recreation rooms, the carrom table, the TT table and the pool table, all were in really bad shape, but I am sure they must be re doing everything before start of \'the season\'. But all this gets compensated by a very courteous staff, nice food and ..the beautiful locations in Maha\'shwar! The staff helped us to arrange the additional sight seeing we wanted to undertake, and their own sight seeing schedule was punctual. They actually remind you if you dont show up for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Food was great, with good variety of Marathi, Gujrathi, South Indian and punjabi dishes, vegeterians will love this place!
