Sheetal Samudra - Mini Goa Reviews (8)
Lately, I visited Goa. So, I decided to stay in hotel and I choose hotel Sheetal because my friend refer this hotel and believe me this hotel is perfect as my friend told me. I really enjoy the experience with this hotel and the service they provided.
Wanted to take a chill with friends. Enjoyed our stay. At a very quite place. Really a great place for relaxation. Peaceful place and lovely services. Great food quality especially, the tea. The best thing is the location. Enjoyful stay away from the city stress.
It is a good resort. The images here are self descriptive as shown above. Staff was also supporting one. Should visit once and give them a try. Perfect for a two or three days of trip.
It was not at all like mini Goa beach because beach side to be maintain view wise and pool was good. Rooms were good to relax, but service and food wise lot lot to be developed. Actually location wise it is very good, but hotel maintenance need to be improved.
It is a very good hotel, Staying arrangement is also very nice, Food & Drink are in a budget. Hotel location is also very Perfect. As per my side rating for this hotel out of 10 is 9
I have been to this resort with 65 odd people in two buses. The facility and service at resorts are the most awful on earth, because they make tall claims and you go there with lots of expectations. The resort has worst location and narrow road to reach out. It is 14 km away from WE highway, which takes about 1 hour. The rooms under swimming pool (which a disastrous design) have leakage, stinky and are very small in size. The beds, mattresses were stinky, sticky and few had sand on it. The door locks, room fans and water taps were not working. Swimming pool water was not clean, it has green algae. I was bleeding by stepping on broken beer bottle on which manager said your guys must have done this. He did not care to clean remaining glass pieces from pool; we had to do on our own as we had family and kids with us. Forget about offering, he did not give first aid kit, even after asking for it. Staff is ill-trained and do not know what to do. The resort is at remote location, you have to buy everything from resort which is at exorbitant cost(200%+). Rs 50 for water or 500ml cold drink. Rs. 100 for 1.5L cold drink. Rs 50 corkage for beer or buy one at Rs 175. And here is worst of all: Resort manager and couple of his people are not only adamant and rude, but he talks and behaves like a GOON. Never seen in my life that staff got their friends from outside and got drunk in the night. He did not admit even a single fault listed above. Got into argument for each and everything. He knew that we had paid advance, had our families with us at remote location. He asked us to pay in full or leave as we checked in and complained about facilities. We were left with no option but to oblige. There is another maharastrian manager who was little sober, was thrashed verbally by one person when tried to intervene. This guy could have made us feel better, but he was the root cause of all our woes. One single man is root cause of 70% of issues. Do not go to this resort with your family. Mark my words. Now few good points, This resort has best destination, beach touch. Food is decent, not best not worst. Service is still awful. Go to this resort if you are group of 4-8 guys on bike/car, want a weekend gateway. Not worth for more than Rs 1000 per person including two meals, one breakfast and stay. The company has few more resorts, beware. Check the site below. http://www.shrimaharaj.com/.
The place is made extremely well..looks good from the exteriors..a little difficult to find. Has 2 swimming pools, rain dance and is beach touching. Had a bad experience because of the rooms, service and the food.
Good experience but was little difficult to find. But after so much of hunting the place was not disappointing, it was nice. They must have pick and drop facility. I thought it was little highly charged and compulsion of food and facilities should not be there. They should also provide only accomdation and food can be ordered extra, because everyone doesn't like buffet system.
