Shelter Hotel Reviews
Good hotel with basic facilities being executed and provided well. Room service was a little late. Food was good. With a good spread for breakfast. Please get your power sockets fixed so that it will be easy to use 2 pin.
A value for money hotel for short stay in Chennai. Good for Temple visits. Hotel looks aged. Allotted room is cramped and road noise creeping in even during late night and early morning, hope other rooms are better. Better avoid rooms in the front. Good for temple visits and shopping, near to beach and other entertainment options also are available....Read More
The room is good. But too small. Since its in prime place and near Mylapore bus stop its easy to access any places. I will recommend thz for business, tourism etc. Since I didn't have food there me not sure about the food, activities. Worth for money
I opted for this hotel because I had some work around Mylapore. Other than the location advantage it has there is nothing worth it here. Cramped room and lousy service nothing great about food served in their restaurant. I will never stay here again even if offerred a room free of cost.
The location suited my purpose a lot but other than that nothing is great about this hotel. Horrible food and drinks here. The waiters in the restaurant were eating directly out of the buffet spread which was down right disgusting. They accommodated an early check-in which was the only pleasant thing done by the front office.
I was there in this hotel for 6 days. Never changed breakfast menu, breakfast is not good as compare to the snack you can get in Mylapore surrounding this hotel. I like the veg food near this hotel at Saravana Bhavan and Hotel Sangita. Nice area to stay for family, as Kapaleeshwar Temple is very near, the front desk person will misguide you and....Read More
Stayed in the hotel for a day. Located in a very nice place. The room was soo nice and neat. Breakfast was good. But the service was bad. There was no water in the bathroom. Had to call those people several time. They got a bubble top. Value for money.
Hotel room are very nice and clean. Only problem is car parking, only limited cars can park. Rest everything is good and clean. I stayed with My family members, stay was cool.
Except external noise, everything was very good. They can improve by providing noise proof window shutters and they can improve the AC with air purifier. Good response and dining service also impressive, request to make my trip to get round the clock check in and check out facility. Thanks to makemytrip.
I had been to Chennai with family in the month of May 2013 and stayed in this hotel. It was convenient to locate the hotel and it was in the centre of the city. The appearance of the hotel and service also was good. The room allotted to me was spacious and it was well maintained with all required amenities in working condition. The food served in t....Read More
A trip to Mylapore is incomplete without visiting this restaurant. Right from the banana leaf to the hot kaapi, this place is known for dishing out southern flavours. The mess started 65 years ago and then it served meals for 50 people, with the o
