Shelter Hotel Reviews
This hotel facilities and receptionist are not good for talking. I went this hotel and that receptionist did not give the answer properly. I talked with him but he is talking on phone and he didn't give the answer and I asked 2 or 3 time, then he give the answer and that's why I'm saying this hotel is not good for me and one more thing then I leave....Read More
I have been a regular visitor at this hotel. This is third time in last 1 year. However, every time I have to fill the hotel booking form and have been asked for 3rd time in this visit again about me and my wife are married or not. This is quite indecent. The staff should behave and know how to handle customers who stay in their hotel. This proves....Read More
Average hotel at a better price, the food was costly and was not well prepared, however, their breakfast buffet was good. The area is little crowded and there could be parking issues at the hotel, hey do claim that they have parking space somewhere adjacent to the hotel and rooms are alright.
The hotel is situated at heart of Mylapore. This hotel is most suitable for business travellers and pilgrimage travellers who have planed to visit both Kapaleshwar temple and Shirdi Sai Temple. All important shops are nearby. The only limitation is room size. Fresh air circulation is not there in the common area and common toilets. Food quality and....Read More

While the property and locations are good but the maintenance in the lobby and common area is not good. Fresh air circulation is not there in the common area and common toilets. Food quality and presentation certainly needs improvement. The Bar is expensive and does not offer premium brand alcohol. For a budget hotel the price of one bottle of mine....Read More
Good hotel with basic facilities being executed and provided well. Room service was a little late. Food was good. With a good spread for breakfast. Please get your power sockets fixed so that it will be easy to use 2 pin.
A value for money hotel for short stay in Chennai. Good for Temple visits. Hotel looks aged. Allotted room is cramped and road noise creeping in even during late night and early morning, hope other rooms are better. Better avoid rooms in the front. Good for temple visits and shopping, near to beach and other entertainment options also are available....Read More
The room is good. But too small. Since its in prime place and near Mylapore bus stop its easy to access any places. I will recommend thz for business, tourism etc. Since I didn't have food there me not sure about the food, activities. Worth for money
I opted for this hotel because I had some work around Mylapore. Other than the location advantage it has there is nothing worth it here. Cramped room and lousy service nothing great about food served in their restaurant. I will never stay here again even if offerred a room free of cost.
This is clearly the oldest restaurant in Chennai which is known for having introduced the famous ‘Chicken 65’. The Buhari Hotel kitchen dates back to 1951. Now it has spread itself around Chennai amounting for 10 branches in total.HolidayIQ
