Ranthambore food, sight-seeing and shopping options
There are no restaurants in the area, if you wish to try something else from your hotel’s menu card. The food at the hotels is good, and have offer continental, Italian and Chinese apart from our desi khana . Do carry lots od chips, cookies & coke etc. there are very few shopes around. There are couple of handicraft shops on the Ranthambore road, as most of the tourist here are foreigners the prices are high so don’t forget to bargain.

Situated on the periphery of Rathambore National Park, Sher Bagh is a jungle resort. The main highlight of Rathambore Park is tigers and Sher Bagh offer jungle safaris in jeep for wildlife spotting. Sher Bagh also arranges trips to Koeladeo Ghana, Bharatpur bird sanctuary, Sariska Tiger reserve and the cities of Alwar and Bharatpur.

Accommodation in Sher Bagh consists of 12 tents with attached verandahs and bathrooms, a dining tent and a café. The tents are custom made and raised on plith. The bathrooms of the tents have round the clock running hot water facility. The bedrooms have heaters. Food is served in the Dining Tent of the camp and it is a blend of Indian and Continental meals. Other amenities in Sher Bagh include 24-hour room service, ayurvedic massage, boutique, ISD/STD facility, helipad and doctor on call.
