Shimla food, sight-seeing and shopping options
The only two things in Shilon Bagh apart from the natural beauty are its two resorts. There is hardly any other habitation in view. One has to be dependent on the resorts for food ( which is usually good) and there's nowhere to go for shopping. However, Shilon Bagh has numerous options nearby. One can visit Chail which has the famous Chail Palace ( now converted into a hotel) and the highest cricket ground in the world. Kufri ( famous for skiing in winters) can be visited to see the zoo. Naldehra has a beautiful golf course set amidst pine and cedar trees in the mountains. And ofcourse there is Shimla with numerous options of food, sightseeing and shopping. All these places are within a radius of 10- 35 kms of Shilon Bagh and easily accessible by road.

My destination Shimla is better - location is good with green appearance. Front office is expert in booking and providing service. Maintained room and hygienic food I admit, but lacking in activity. I love to breath and climb mountains. Greenery makes me stress free and fresh every time....
