Comments: Magnificient hotel building. Great views all around the hotel. It was a privilege to have stayed in such an imposing edifice.
Best Experience: My best experience was purely accidental. I bumped into Arun Govil (Ram of teleserial fame) in the hotel lobby.

Hotel Review of Peterhoff, Hotel
I booked it expecting to soak in the heritage charm and I must admit that I was not disappointed. The old fashioned architecture, huge rooms with appropriate bathrooms, the ornate hall with spectacular chandelliers and the beautiful gardens all added to its charm. As it was a government run hotel I did not expect much in terms of service and it was actually like that. Although the staff were courteous the service was not at all prompt. Our room was...

I s'pose the expectations of The Peterhoff did us in...when we were told it was a heritage hotel, we grabbed the opportunity to book rooms there. It still is the Govt. guest house. Lets look at the overall experience : 1. The check-in was smooth..after a drive of over 4 hours (with kids) i was quite happy to be quickly whisked away to our rooms...with running Hot water (NO NO not the kind u see on the TV ad these days...

Staying at Hotel Perterhoff was an enchanting experience. The hotel is one of HPTDC's premier hotels. The room was spacious and neatly maintained. Essential facilities like hot water and heaters were provided for our comfort. The mangement was also very courteous and helpful. Food was excellent, although the service was very slow. The view seen from our hotel room was one of majestic mountains and misty valleys. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the railway station. The walkway...

Hotel Review of Peterhoff, Hotel
I and my wife, Kavita had been to Shimla for our honeymoon. We were in Peterhoff from 15-18th May, 2005. It was a decent stay in the hotel. The approach corridors to the hotel rooms are narrow. The room service was satisfactory. It would be better if the rooms wardrobe, furnitures, doors and windows could be repaired soon. However, the climate even in summer was cool (15-18 degC), evenmore comfortable in the room. Ofcourse the tour itself was memorable and...
